Well in Prop. and Factions music was very monotone.. I wonder if there will be more variety in music in here ( especialy i would like to hear some war drums, fanfare... something that cheers u up and not to depress u ).. I am killing big big wurms or whatever and there is this lullaby in ur ears... hmm somehow i dont thing it goes well together..
Why I ask this is because good music can make the game far more interesting than some meditating lullabys. There should be more different types of music depending on area ur in ( jungle should have some tribal drums, desert should be playing some kind of egyptian music, in Asian areas ( where u do lots of fighting ) there should be some taiko drums and so on... )
Afterall this is game full of action playing there for music should acompany this action.
Whats is ur opinion on this guys..
What about music

I liked some of the themes in Prophecies a lot (the Kryta theme for example) but I agree that the music could stand out a bit more. On the other hand a lot of people probably wouldn't like it. In some games like Morrowind the music gets more intense as you start fighting, that might work in future GW chapters as well.

Even after DirectSong updated their files to allow Canthan music to play directly while playing, I only heard the full suite when on Shing Jea. As soon as I hit the mainland, very few songs played at all. In the city, I heard only the same one over and over. I was told that was intended.
I hope Nightfall deals with music more like the way Tyria plays - you get to hear all the music if you stay in an area long enough.

you cant beat FF music, hire their composers, they're awesome^^.
The music in GW is nice, but it should make you want to feel something when you're exploring the wilderness, or fighting monsters, I'm getting tired of orchestras.
I mean, factions had shiro, and he wasn't even that scary, the music could have been a vary influential part in amplifying that emotion.
