What Do You Think The Plot Will Be About?

Personally I think the plot will be about the elonians trying to keep the grasps and other associated monsters in check and chained away in their own realm. (Like the Titans from phropecies) When some big bad powerful boss guy comes and breaks them loose, and they start invading everywhere ( Tombs, Shing Jea Etc.) And they start turning the elonian's land into some kind of night land like were the monsters escaped from.

And then the elonians ask for help from Cantha and Tyria.


Plz post ur own ideas of what u think the plot will be about or comment on others.

Seriously though I couldn't even begin to guess.. maybe after seeing some of the monsters and such on the preview event or the landscape people might have a better idea.. although I suppose yours is as good as any right now. I'd be cool with that... though i think it's going to have some sort of temple type thing with seals and that.. that's what i get from the name and looking at the two professions.

i would guess something with Good vs. Evil. If you look at the new characters one looks like the evil "sith" type person for a star wars movie. the Paragon looks like the angel. So i would say something with the forces of good and evil... just a thought.

well given the look of the characters and their heritage (acording to sticky) it will prolly be realated to the desert and elionia so im guessint the scenery will be similar to that of kryta and amnoon or w/e the desert is called

I think that Elona is going to be invaded by the Darkness, from the Tomb of Primeval Kings and the Dragon Festival.

The Guy added during the festival mentioned that the Darkness came from Elona, he knew because he was a Zaishen, one of the guild that fights them in ToPK.

Also, when the Grasps attacked the monastery, there was a silent figure that stood out of the way of the fight. It was a Necrid Horseman, only it was a ghost, and it was called "The Fury." This was never explained.

ToPK is most likely an Elonian tomb, seeing as most of the kings (all of them) are wearing the same armor as the Elonian ghost, and it is in the desert.

Chapter 3 is made by the same team that made Prophecies, and thus the same people who originally created the Darkness.

The Grasps that attacked Shing Jea during the festival had an updated look compared to the old grasps, more spiky and sleek than the old ones, hinting at a greater use for them.

So, if the Darkness is from Elona, Elona is where Chapter 3 takes place, Chapter 3 is being made by the same people who made the Darkness.....

I think that adequately suits the title of "Nightfall"

The Elonians tried to settle down in the Crystal Desert, right?
They failed and that is why all the ghosts are around. Maybe they came from Elonia to escape the Evil Army.

Maybe ToPK is where they buried the kings of there new Civilization in the Crystal desert. (Note the egyptian-like tomb, North Africa anyone?)

It will be interesting if there are some game elements that can cross over to tyria in Elona making the game play more intergrated.

In my view the plot will pretty much boil down to something like:

"The evil grasps have escaped from their ancient banishment. Now their evil is spreading like never before. Grasps are so powerful that no single army will be able to defeat them. This requires the people from every land to band together in order to defeat the grasp threat".

mhenlo will be getting ready for a dinner date with cynn. hes all groomed, decked out in his finest robes, picked up some Boons of Protection, and hes off. he reaches the resteraunt at NightFall(TM). then it all goes horribly wrong...

An evil race of snake people are plunging the world of Elona into never-ending darkness. It's up to you and Deckard Cain...err... Mhenlo, to find a solution. Which will probably involve 24 missions of obvious plot twists, waves after waves of scarabs and horrendously difficult escort missions, ending finally with Mhenlo plunging a soulstone into his forehead and unleashing Diablo into the land of Guild Wars, while simulatenously opening a giant Dark Portal into the land of Tyria in which the barbaric race of Orcs..err.. Char emerge again, who make an alliance with the Undead, thus creating an auction house in Ironforge...err... Droknar's Forge

baddy creates ultimate weapon to take over the world...after defeating him, you have 2 choices, evil or good...kinda like lux & kurz...but say evil wins alot like in a HoH fashion....game places in night time and game a bonus wil "under night fall" like super speed or vampire like stuff....and vice versa for good like paladin' like stuff

All we know is that whatever the plot is, the voice acting and cut-scenes will be god awful.

It would be nice to see a little back story of one of the other Henchies formed in Nightfall just like Mhenlo did in Factions. Perhaps Eve.
