Does the official game guide, contain info on Character builds, like give you builds?

The Factions one gives you a few example builds, but I think the Prophecies one just gives quick explanations into ANet staff members' preferred builds.
Personally, I've never used someone else's build. I just take what seems to work for me (Like Backbreaker followed by Crushing Blow for a quick Deep Wound or a combi of Phantom Pain then Conjure Phantasm to start a fight and for the same result. On the same char
