Earning special"items" for preview

If i am correct,It said that for the pvp preview you could get special items?If someone has a direct quote for this that would bo good because i dont.If this is true do you think it will be something like an item or a non-item. Hmmm

when the game is released all accounts are reset except for unlocks so nothing that would go in your inventory or on your character

From the press release - bolded the special items bit...

No i mean something like......you can earn a scythe thats customized to your character......Like the VERY AWSOME(not really) preorder items.

I really hope its not like amber and jade from the factions PVE event. I want my rangert to have a Scythe/Spear. :P

i don't think it will be a Scythe or a spear. It most likey will be something else, something that we have already seen or something total new. We got 1 week to find out, but they may hint us earlyer.

Typical, you have to PvP to get the special stuff lol

i forsee a collector item (maybe like an Elonian Tablet) being dropped from PvP deaths that will be able to be tradded in for... Drumroll Please.... Dervish/Paragon Miniatures of key characters in Nightfall (like togo = rit, and nikita = sin)

and Guild Wars: Nightfall Tee-shirt that can be worn in towns and outposts

if its a pharos head piece I will LMAO, that could be the one thing they can do that would be worse then the uggly chicken masks.

I really badly want that to happen.

In order to get anything besides the same old generic armor and weapon skins you have to do PvE, so I actually think this is a nice change of pace. Plus I really doubt its PvP exclusive, just a preview of new items.
