Hi guys,
Noob question. I'm certain this must have been covered before, but I could not find the answer through searches on these forums or on guildwiki.
If I were to use the following:
1. A wand for a ritualist that gives me a 10% chance to cut the recharge time on all skills by 50%.
2. A focus item that gives me a 20% chance to cut the recharge time on restoration spells by 50%
What is the end result on my restoration spells? Would I get a 30% net chance? Or would it count as a 20% chance, and if that failed an additional 10% (which does not technically work out as well as a combined 30%)?
Or am I just getting the benefit of the greatest pecentage of the 2 (ie 20%)?
Is there a page on wiki with all of this explained, that I missed?
Wands + focus items?

If you use a 10% halves recharge time together with a 20% halves recharge time, you have 28% halves recharge time for your spells.
(20% out of 100 = 20 times, 10% of the left 80 times = 8 times = 28 times total)
And you should have a 2% chace for a 1/4 recharge time.
Im hope that im not wrong now..., but if it's the case, pls correct me

It's a separate chance for both to activate. This means that there is a roll for each to have its effect, creating the possibility of activating both at the same time for a 1/4th of the origional cast time effect.
