I know all Tyria missions can be done this way with bonuses.

So far the only ones I've been able to get masters with henchies is the very first two (noob isle), Arborstone and Seabed. The rest I have not been able to with henchies.

what's that??!

Unwaking Waters mission should also easily be done with masters reward.

Did all missions with henchies.

With empty skill bar....

I see Unwaking Waters and Arborstone with empty skill bar for now

But I rather say it depend with which profession you choose those who survive the must.... or the less.

I agree with Francis--it depends on what profession you play.

I'd be impressed if you did Raisu Palace that way. It's the only mission I've not been able to hench.

I henched Raisu with my mesmer. I only got the standard reward, but it's definitely henchable. The only missions I haven't henched are Vizunah Square (never attempted to hench it) and the last mission. Also Gyala Hatchery--none of my characters have even attempted that one yet. I've had an easier time henching it with some professions than others, though. Some characters grouped for missions I henched with others.

Imperial Sanctum - doable on mesmer, at least (WW ftw - see GuildWiki for which hench you take)
Unwaking Waters - surprisingly easy with 15 hench
Arborstone - somewhat depends on your luck in the end, but generally henchable
Boreas - bring interrupts.

Boreas seabed is easy when you Bring Panaku.... Yes, you read it. Panaku. Its the interrupter hench for this mission and Degen at the same time.

Boreas is a piece of cake. Tanhnakai is pretty easy too. Unwaking was easy. I had 15 hench that time Xp.

Well, I'm impressed. If you can hench Raisu Palace you'll have no problem at all with Vizunah and not much with Gyala either, they're both considerably easier (especially Vizunah).

Unwaking & Boreas are also quite easy, certainly easier than Raisu.

Why are you guys going with an empty skill bar? Is it for the challenge? Aren't there better things in game if you want a challenge, like elite missions, etc.?

You kidding me? Controlling henchman through canthan missions, with an empty skill bar is more masterful than formula farming (elite is no longer the correct word for either capital missions) greens.

LoL, what I meant was that I don't think it's worth the time (or effort) to make something harder than it has to be just to find a challenge. I'd rather find something else to do, in-game or in real-life, that's more meaningful and presents a decent challenge. Maybe people are just bored

Gayla Hatchery would be quite a feat with henchmen and no skills, especially if they fixed the gwiki listed "exploit" where the turtles don't start moving.

the original post stated MASTERS with henches and empty skill bar. i dont see any one posting any masters. or unless i am mistaken and he only means which mission can be done with henches, and not the masters reward.

Well, FWIW I got masters on Gyala and Vizunah with all-hench team. I didn't have empty skillbar, though. I wasn't actualy trying to get Masters either, just get through.

The Gyala exploit isn't fixed (although it was claimed in update notes that it was!), but I didn't use it; I simply didn't know about it then.

As for why... It's a fun challenge, and the only things I've come across which I simply couldn't hench are Raisu Palace in Cantha, and Defiled Tombs in Tyria (although I know at least one who's done Defiled Tombs with henches). Right now I'm working on getting all bonuses with all-hench teams in Tyria.

And of course I do everything with the fewest possible number of henches, and of course I don't run, but fight my way through.

Same here. I've never gone on an empty skill bar--never even thought of it. I was just saying what missions I've henched, as in let's start with what missions are even henchable and then talk about masters and empty skillbars (eek!).

The only bonus I think would be difficult to hench is the Dunes of Despair one. I haven't henched all of them, but I've done all of them and I think the others are henchable. But Dunes of Despair could be tough.

As Xeno Breaker said, isn't the title of this thread about MASTER completion with hench and an empty skill bar?

I gotta see some screenshots - I simply don't believe you can get MASTER completion with all hench and an empty skill bar for Arborstone, Tahnnakai Temple, Raisu Palace, Eternal Grove, Nahpui Quarter, Imperial Sanctum (hench and you with no celestial skills in under 2:30? no way)... actually outside of the first two missions on Monastery Island, Boreas Seabed, and Unwaking Waters, and Gyala Hatchery via the backway, possibly Sunjiang, I don't believe it.

Finishing with standard or expert, yes I can believe it.

Yep, that's the one I'm working on. Got so far I had killed all three generals and all of their bodyguards except ONE, which I had down to about 10% health - then the time ran out. Right then I wasn't exactly a happy camper.

Still, wasn't a total loss, I got a Superior Vigor from one of the armors. And I'll make another try once I've licked my wounds.

Ouch! Well, if you manage to do it, my hat'll be off to you, and I'd be interested in any advice you have since I've got a few characters who'll be needing that bonus.

Heh, 10% health

I was once doing that bonus, and we thought the boss died right when the timer ran out, but I guess he still had 0.000001% health or something, and we didn't get the bonus

I wish I could take credit for it, but I copied the tactics off the Guildwiki advice for doing the bonus pretty much verbatim. My first attempts were with a W/R, but I shifted to W/Me because my henches had difficulties with groups of jade scarabs (and Alesia always manage to aggro a bunch).

You mean you did it? Congrats! Who cares if you used GuildWiki. Even with instructions, I'm sure some wouldn't manage it. I'll have to check GuildWiki more often for mission and bonus tips.
