Iron Mines of Moladune glitched?

Alright, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but this has seriously hacked off me and my group.

So I went to do mission so I could cap Barrage with my ranger... We do infusion and all that good stuff and go off to fight Markis... but what's this?!?! Markis isn't there... he didn't spawn at all.... We searched everywhere and he just never appeared. We killed off all the jades and mursaat and no sign of him. This has happened twice in a row to us... has it happened to anyone else or what's going on here?


edit: We finally found him, he was hiding in a corner near a mursaat boss... I have no idea how he got there

ya that bug pops up now and again. There are a good few bugs in that mission.

Markis starts out near your starting point in the mission and runs his way to the final area that you are used to seeing him at. In fact, you can see him crossing a high-up bridge near the start of the mission. Sometimes, however, he gets stuck or "confused" on his way to his intended destination, resulting in what you have explained.

I've done the bonus with two characters, both times we encountered Markis near the Shining Blade Scout. And every time the group hasn't been going for the bonus, Markis has been at the fortress. Probably just a coincidence though.
