If you, like me, have managed to drag small quick launch buttons off of the Guild Wars menu and onto the main play area, here is how to get rid of them.

Simply left click the button and drag and drop it back onto the menu button and it will disappear!

It took me months to work this out and was rather delighted when I found the solution. I had a collection of about nine of them on my desktop before I finally worked out how to remove them!

Haha, this is the funniest post I've ever read on this forum. So you managed to drag them out, but did find out how to drag them back?

I bow my head for your honesty. Finally someone who's not 1337 here.

It took me 1 year to find I could see the inviting party's members by hovering the mouse over it...

If you really want to mess yourself up, go into the Options menu and edit your screen layout. You can change where the compass is, your health and energy and skill bars, where the game dialogs pop up, just about everything.

Fun stuff.

Took me 6 months to know about this feature ( drag icon out to the screen) and 20 secs to decide not to use any small icon on the screen. Hotkey ftw

That's still a relatively new option that came with an update a couple months back I believe.

My aha - was someone telling me how to drag something out of a trade window if you accidently put it there or the person only ones 1 of the items.

Double click the item in your trade window
-or-
click and drag to the main play window

I'm not sure if everyone knows this, but certain Windows functions work in-game as well, such as copy and paste. When you see somebody advertising for a group, but you dont see their character to click on and invite, simply click their name in the chat log, then highlight their name in the whisper field, hold down CTRL + C, then click in the party invite field and hit CTRL + V to paste their name in.

This makes inviting people you cant actually see SO much easier than typing in the name manually.
