Customizing Armor Situation...

Hi!

So here the situation:

I got a Necro and she got a Fanatic Armor..so sure it customized to her name,toguht i dont like her hair so i want to delete her put the Fanatic Armor in the Storage and then create a other Necro whit the same name that my Necro was...

Is she gonna be able to wear it?

i'm pretty sure i've read about this somewhere else,and its not possible.

nope that wont work any longer was a bug that was fixed long ago

not really if this was doable, it coulda been easily exploitable by newer players if you think about it, say a new player joins the game, creates a pvp char as "John Doe" then takes that char's items and armor and etc and puts it in the stash, then deletes "John Doe", he then creates a PvE char with the name "John Doe" well now he has access to perfect items and perfect armor and etc soon as he starts the game. meaning he could exploit pvp and have perfect items, this imo would be why they fixed taht

yeah, I tried tested this out with PVP chars, and as it was said before, this doesn't work. A friend of mine wanted to remake his ranger but hoped to keep his 15k armor.

It seems that GW customizes items to another ID that's unique to every character created, no matter what the name is.
