Well farming isn't exactly the most fun in the game, so I was wondering where you guys think the best place in the PVE game is to just have fun, while making money?

Last time I did that....our stupid monk kept rezzing us after everyone had 60 dp. We were stuck in her layer for like 30 minutes, and then we started trying to attract Glint to the monk. After about 10 more minutes, she got that monk, and we carried on with our lives.

I like SF the best, but Glint is fun to try and kill (anyone do it?)

The undeniable most fun place to PvE in Guild Wars is Thunderhead Keep.

I disagree with that......it should be "the most annoying mission"

Bah that mission is easy if your group has 2 trappers and 2 monks that know how to heal and protect. Only took me 2 times. Hardest mission for me was the final one, more so the longest cause we had our trapper set up the traps and pull the enemies groups in one at a time.

So...sorrow's furnace sounds pretty good right now.

Oh, well its gona stink when I gota do it with henchmen, unless I can get my friends to come. I usally make sure people in my party are my real life friends and we go on TS on the hard Missions. Don't want some idoit who would leave or is brain dead to help.

All you need to do Thunderhead is one human monk (preferably unretarded) - the rest can be all henchies. Just stay by the king. If people didn't have such an insane compulsion to use the catapults and split up at the two gates, they wouldn't have a problem. I'm speaking from experience here: splitting up is death. Stay together, and any random PuG group can do it.

*gives thread back*

SF 5 man farming as a Minion Master. Nothing's so beautiful as cutting down an army of dredge slaves and being followed out of the cavern by seven ranks of bone fiends. Those fiend armies are the closest thing you can get to a nice big machine gun in this game.

Everytime I have completed TK we split and guarded the gates. Do it a lot helping guildmates. As long as everyone knows the plan and plays as a team the mission is really easy. So ..... splitting up is not death if you do it with a TEAM

for me its a toss up. I love monking in FoW for some odd reason as its usually a good challenge. Edge bombing charr in Nolani is just fun to do sometimes when u feel like getting revenge. But when i want a laugh I got to Augry ID1 and stand on the stairs and wave at all the farmers going out the west entrance. its even funnier when they stop

Farming near Ember Light Camp is fun too. SF is a bit boring, I like Grenths Footprint more.

When im ticked off, cuz I got scammed or something I go to a really low level place like Ascalon and just kill all of em in like 1 hit. Great way to take out anger without using expletives.

Well, I may be weird (hold your comments, people ) but I sometimes enjoy going on an "up to the smites only" UW trapping run, then when everyone leaves, run around and taunt the coldfires for a while (good exercise with all the running), maybe open a chest or two that I know full well will spawn a purple item, and still curse when it isn't gold ... then I usually get a big head and decide that I can clear the chamber by myself ... of course shortly followed by getting completely owned by every Aatxe/Grasping Darkness/etc that's inside the room.

Then, after watching the world spin for a while, and observing al the nasty UW critters pace back and forth (no doubt waiting for my return), i'll send myself back to ToA and the three others in my party will say "where the hell have you been?" if they're new, or "why on earth do you like to taunt those lizards?" if they know me well

Beating the Level 30 Bone Dragon in Majesty Rest is one of the best places to have fun in the game. Why? Because it isn't a required area, so you won't get hardcore players trying to do it, only players who are interested in a challenge.

Perdition Rock is the shizzle... so many bosses, so many goofy-looking monsters, and Ms. Maxine conjuring ranger spirits and running away..... good times, good times
