Well, i was thinking of when factions came out and i wanted to name my assassin this really cool name (slips my mind right now) and by the time i got factions the name was taken. Simply make a character (doesnt matter what class or anything now) name it the name you so choose (since you already know what the classes are and what they will look like you can try as well as making "fitting names") and let it sit untill you purchase your nightfall copy.

"First Dervish" and "Last Dervish" are already mine (as was Yuffie Of Wutai for Factions), even though I don't actually plan on playing the game as a Dervish. I'm just going to keep them as my PvP characters so nobody else can use them because I know somewhere, someone is going to want to make a Dervish named "First Dervish" or "Last Dervish", and it will slightly annoy them that it's already taken.

Factions came out and I was so going to be original, because I am old and remember the 80's. I was going to make a black assassin named Bruce Leroy, like that dude from that 80's karate movie with Sho'Nuff. Unfortunately someone already had it. They had Sho Nuff too come to think of it.

Seriously, coming up with good, original, names is hard. Which is why the world is filled with Leggolasses, Pwneerers, and Hairy Putters. ANet should take the hint, and make a random name generator people could use. Or just add a link to one of the ones which already exist:

If I came up with a clever, funny name that I really wanted to give a new character, the last thing I'd do would be post it on an Internet forum. Think about it!

My assassin is named "Shadow Assassin", but in japenese so it doesnt sound like i cudnt be bothered to think of a name :S, ill probably do it again, find a really obvious name, translate it, and use it, giggling at the irony when people compliment the name.
