Some action

Who here isn't bored or angry at leechers, afkers, spammers and other crap that exist in the game world?

I think that the gaming community should start to take action against it too, instead of demanding that Anet have to work against it alone.

All we have to do is to take screenshots, maybe 3 or 4 of the leechers and afkers to prove that they stand still and send them to Anet, from there Anet cold send out individual warnings to the leechers and afkers, then after 1 or 2 warnings, they are banned or prevented from playing that certain area for a period of time, why should they be allowed to play, all they do is stand there doing nothing

Spammers, well, they are a little harder to deal with, but people could try to tell them to shut it ans such

So we should do something about it by making Anet doing something about it. Isn't that already the current status quo?

Exactly. This is already in effect, but ultimately it still dumps all the responsiblity on ArenaNet. The thing is, this is all we really CAN do about these issues.

The problem is that many of us are so desperate to do a quest, that we will put up with everything. When someone goes afk in the mission, we should get back to town and form a new team. But we stand hours and hours in a town, so we're happy with everybody's grandmother, as long as we have a party.
Anet will not deal with this, and doesn't make the hench stronger either. Case closed.

It does sort of turn in to a school playground-type scenario when you have to report bad behaviour but for the game's sake and the paying customers' sake, Anet need better policing over this because leechers, scammers and spammers aren't going away any time soon.
