GW gold on Ebay?

Questions to the group:

Has anyone purchased GW gold on Ebay? I see on Ebay there is 100K, 200K, 300K 500K, 1 MM, etc for purchase. Looks like they deposit to your storage account in the international districts.

Is this legit?
Is this against the GW (or Anet) rules?
Does this work?

of course its not allowed by anet. if you do purchase gold on ebay, expect your account to be banned and for you to lose everything.

If I were you, I wouldn't do it. It can get your account banned. Buying anything for you GW account (money, items, minipets, ect.) can get your account banned.

On top of that...even if you skip getting just immediently banned by Anet...Most of the selling is just a fraud anyway. You transfer your money to them...and they put you on their ignore list ingame. Who are you going to complain too? it was an illegal transaction, so if you complain to Ebay or Anet...Your in trouble too..so..

This is what I thought. Thank you all for replying. I don't suppose anyone would admit to doing this by telling me their experience, so I'll go about finding gold where I can.

i would suggest you just grind your way to gold, taking the easy way out will not only put your account at risk, but it will take the fun out of 'building' your character.
