So you pull out your nifty R/N, walk on over to port sledge, read up on EoE bombing grawl and think it sounds cool!

Well, you kill 'em for a while, and it gets boring.. but you like the big explosions..

So where do you turn? To aspenwood, of course, to farm human player corpses!

Consume Soul [E]

join up on kurzick or luxon, get in position, drop a QZ with serpent's on you, then a predatory, fertile, & eoe.. when everyone is at about 33% health, use Consume Soul on your fertile, everyone will drop by 370 HP and.. boom !

usually requires a lot of people to activate, and, if used near the commander-y radik guy, will kill him.

Enjoy farming uh, other players!

Uhm, why was this posted in the Farming forum?
Recklessly killing players from both teams in PvP is not farming.

Believe me, with EoE you're just spoiling the fun of those people who want to actually play honestly the game at Fort Aspenwood.. Everyone will hate you (except when you're playing luxon side, perhaps, so you can dishonestly kill Gunther too with this dirty trick). So, are you just trying to "farm" hate perhaps?

Yes, luxon faction, or kurzick, if done well.

Think about it, say you go kurzick, you pull off a fertilized eoe bomb in an 8 v 8 fight ridden with npcs, what does this mean?

Your team res's, goes out through your portal, and it's 8 of you versus 2 siege turtles, with all the luxons barely out of their mine-based res points.

Pretty easy way to dispose of turtles, especially because there is no DP!

& If used as a luxon, well.. it's pretty much the most common way to win, just more buffed. Most teams bring EoE for the final push to gunther, so this is just a more dedicated build for it. 370 damage, essentially [if at ~33% or below health the person is living on that health borrowed from fertile] and then all the -52's..

Of course, if you use it as kurzick, regardless of the fact that it doesn't hurt the gatekeepers [but some of the npcs @ the gate..] people will rage at you and accuse you of griefing, etc.

I'll make a screenshot compiliation of all of the "OMG EOE STOPPP" for enjoyment..

Yet another reason people stay away from aspenwood.

I have 175k Luxon faction exclusively from EoE bombing aspenwood. Try oathshot EoE if you want to keep up the damage pressure 24/7.

By a similar logic, bots and leeches are also "clever" ways of farming faction at FA, right? For they also exploit a [different] kind of loophole in the game, after all.. So maybe someone should start posting FA leech/bot builds in this Farming forum

As for the EoE bomb: please explain what's so "skillful", "wise" or "clever" in pursuing the mentality of a suicide bomber? For this is exactly what EoE encourages at FA. Dumping a bad spirit - which is going to kill both teams in the area - doesn't require much skill, really..

And after many unfortunate experiences with EoE-happy bombers at FA, i'm quite sure that it is irresponsible to try to pull this off on the Kurzick side.

Think about it: where, exactly? The EoE range is very large. If you do it closer to any of the kurzick gates, you just lost that gate or gates.. Which defeats the whole purpose of Kurzick defense -- you just helped the turtles to break that gate, thank you.. And they are still alive..

Not necessarily - if that happened somewhere at the external gate, you just lost that mine too -- so the luxons will resurrect there and come back faster than you.

I still think that EoE should NEVER be used by Kurzicks at Fort Aspenwood. Just yesterday i was playing Kurzick and we had a moron EoE addict in our team (or more likely a luxon saboteur playing as kurzick) who placed a Spirit of Extinction right next to the Kurzick resurrection pad (in the Green room) when the Green gate was under attack! And of course Gunther got killed by the next EoE bomb -- and we couldn't even kill that spirit!

Luxons using EoE to kill Gunther - this is just cheating. I dare anyone to argue reasonably why it is fair to have BOTH teams wiped out equally (minus the luxon turtles, yeah) yet one team winning just because the other team had their vital NPC killed by the suicide bombing..

Indeed, as shadowfell observed: EoE is just one more way to ruin the game at Fort Aspenwood.
