New images of Dervish and Paragon (wielding weapon)

Not a big deal, but I thought I'd give a heads-up. Sorry if it's been posted before.

Cool, thanks for posting the images. I wonder though, if the Paragon's spear is a one-handed weapon and be using a shield, what will the required attributes to wield the shield? Paragon attributes of course.

And another thing, I wonder how the attack animations will look for the Dervish when they use the scythe if they're a two-handed weapon.

I have new found respect for the Paragon class. Before they looked pretty... well I'd have to say feminine, (even the men,) but that shield has put them up a notch.

In all seriousness though, I have to say that those pictures are a thousand times better than the first ones that were released. They look way cooler with weapons.

If you've seen the movie "Troy" or studied ancient english Greek battles, the shields were used very integrally with a spear, those notches are probably used to strike the spear through them for surprise attacks and to fend off shorter enemy weapons away more efficiently, or even disarm them.

I'd like to see them used in the Paragons' skills in such a way too. Except of course if they use the spear for throwing...

Troy, what a great movie Anyways ya, thats basically why the shield is like that.

well... yeah ok the hole at the top would make alot of sense... I suppose it depends on how you use the shield

Ooo i just thought of something, like when someone goes to stab you with a sword through one of the two lower holes, you can just jab your shield far into the ground and force the weapon to snap^^.,

warning: although it LOOKS like the spear is one handed thats a promo shot and not an in game shot.

Lets all look at the promos for Devona...ahh two swords....can you wield two swords...no.

That aside, what a cool shield the para has. As for the dervish... well

the force will be with you... always.

Paragon and Javazon sound so alike...
