Now, looking at that I can't WAIT to make my meleemancer a N/D and wield a scythe... Awesome. Not because I wanna be a grim reaper (though this could work too), just because I want my necro to have a more unusual weapon.

Given the location, it doesn't surprise me that people are making the connection between the paragon and the typical African Spearman.

I for one think it looks awesome. Though the exposed knees and toes, with elbow-high gloves look just strikes me as odd looking.

I'm the same way. I'm a white male, so most of my characters are white male. I'm not racist, but I do feel sorry for players that do want african american looking characters since most of the characters just look akward and fugly when you change the skin tone to dark. This isn't because of the skin color, but because the faces themselves generally don't have the same facial features of that descent. Hopefully this new addition will finally give players who want an character with african/african american facial features a chance to have a decent selection of faces since most of the ones presented so far have either been white european, asian, or just ugly. Unfortunately those who want a more hispanic looking character might still be left out. =(

Just thought I'd bring up Egyptian culture:
The Derbvish looks more like an Anubite (follower of the gods Anubis and Set). While the Paragon looks more like a follower of Isis or Ra.

I imagine that the Paragon shields will have a lower armour rating compared with the warrior shields. So a Paragon / Warrior would be good to take advantage of the (probably) superior warrior shields. Also a warrior primary wouldn't want an inferior paragon shield. This is all conjecture on my part, but I think thats what we'll see.
