The more I think about it, the more I believe that the GW store should not sell any in-game items, promotion or other wise. Gaile has often said that the game programers can't spawn items, I think it is more of they won't. If in-game items become purchaseable what effect will it have on the game.

Future chapter, includeing the CE for those-yes
The Collecter Effects of significantly older chapters-maybe, but then again what would be so special about it if anyone can buy it for $20
Extra slots-yes
Extra character features-maybe, but only if the cost of developing those extra features is significant.
In-game items, including gold-no, definitely not
Anything game related, but not in game play-yes

Basically we can list all the stuff we want, but sometimes what people want is not what is best for them, we need to be carefull and not destroy GW with all our desires.

I would like to see rerolls.....the ability to reroll one of your characters. Where as u keep all exp, skills unlocks, titles, map, etc but are able to TOTALLY recreate your character (name, looks, class, etc) and still be level 20....I would pay for that

I don't see anything good coming from people being able to change a normal retail account into a collectors edition because, as previously stated by others, it devalues collectors edition greatly. I wish I had it but it wouldn't be fair to the pre-order CE people.

I'd like to see CE type upgrades for your characters, being able to buy cosmetic (non-armor based) enchancements, not unlike the dance and the divine aura.

For example, buy an "Agressor's Upgrade" for your characters, which could... oh, I dunno... maybe enable your characters to breifly brandish your weapon in town, for the sake of show-off rubbish, that'd be very popular with the warriors and their cool looking blades.

Oh! You should totally be able to buy Marrage certificates (to unite to characters hehe), and... buy presents to give other Characters for a job well done, or... whatever reason! That'd be AWESOME (depending on the potential contents of the presents).

I'm all for the jukebox in the guildhall idea, I'd have that crystal desert song playing at all times.

I think it still plays at the end of the Surmia mission.

Yes
Character slots
Campaigns
Coke-play/Pre-order/Special Edition Items
Coffee Mugs !!

Unsure
CE enhancements.
I went out of my way to buy the CE for the original game, even though I already had a copy. I'm not sure that I would be happy to see people able to buy this addition for $10.

NEVER
Ingame Items
Ingame Features (ie Austion house/storage/stylist - happy to spend ingame money, but not REAL dollars)
Unlocks
Each campaign is suppose to be balanced such that no one set of skills will signifacantly triumph over another. By allowing "unlocks" gamers will be encouraged to "buy" their way around the problem instead of "thinking" about proper countermeasures. This in tern will lead to skills no being balanced properly.

I hope they do NOT include (and from understand it probably wont) but any new like missions or explorable area because then I would feel like I have to buy (I know I don't have to but come on... I gotta ^^) and that would ruin it for me. Also a big no that would ruin it for me is gold or any in game item. I don't want people running around looking more elite just because they paid for something.

No:
Content
In Game Items
Gold

And to more specificly say what I would like to see:
-T-Shirts/Mugs/ect (I'd buy it all)
-Promotional Items (I'm fine with that, being customized is the key..)
-More Storage (People seem to be suggestion that which is fine with me)
-Login Themes (Why not if that's what people want)
- Ability to change name/look (I would pay to change my characters name. I made it on a whim not expecting to save it. I don't know how easy or hard this would be for the development team)
- Guild Book
- Prophices, Factions, and Nightfall retail versions of the game (I think that would be possible? Either way don't think it would hurt)
- Specialized items like a Cloth Map of the game, mini figures of some of the characters and or weapsons ect

Pretty much anything but in game stuff. If I see people running around with Awesome armor/weapons and going to certain areas that they purchased seperatly.. i would be extremely upset and while I can't speak for others, it would certainly ruin my gaming experience.

Having new mini pets for sale doesn't bother me though.I kind of thought it was a good idea. However if it does bother most others then I would say no, just for their sake.

Not sure if it would have to do with the store.... But an option to merge 2 accounts so those of us with dual gw/faction have access to all 12 slots at once. Id drop the added storage for just 1 account.lol
I'd even pay a modest fee.lol

1) reset the region change , as long is not too much
2) I wish you guys implement a facegen system inside guild wars to make the face around REALLY different. for who dont know what is facegen , is something like oblivion face system (basicly instead of choosing some mix of preset you make your face from parameters. check http://www.facegen.com/modeller.htm)

I say NO to minipets.
Why?
Because they are a tradable.
So to clarify my position, nothing should be offered in the shop which can be tradable ingame. It is the equivelant of ebay gold.

I dont care what they add beyond character slots, but there is one rule I hope they follow.

None of the items you can buy shoudl be tangible in game, nothing that can be traded or what ever.

YES
Coffiee mugs, Hats, Cool T-Shirts that come in XXXL sizes
Plush Ataxe and other GW toys.. (I want a PLUSH ATAXE so bad!)
Extra Slots

NO
Ingame Items or effects of any sort. You have no idea what this will do for Eliteism in the game. I don't care if it does not make someone uber this is a big time NO! Once you head down this road it will become a dark time for GW.

Agreed. I don't want this to be a micro-transaction game where every little feature has to be bought seperately outside the already $50-priced expansion packs. Character slots and real life items like GW merchandise seems fine, but if you start getting into storage and access to private features like auction house like previously suggested in this thread, I disagree immensely.
