I think there should be a re-customize option at the weapons merchant. This way you could use a customized weapon with a different character. Maybe it could be made so that it would only work with your characters, so it would prevent you from selling a customized weapon.

P.S. The reason why I think this would be a good game update is because I recently spent 70k on a weapon only to find that for the build to work best I need a different second profession, and I found this out after customizing the weapon!!!

I think an account customization ability that would cost 4x as much would be worthwile.
