
E-Management For Minion Master?

Ive been MMing in ABs quite often, and it seems I run out of energy. I use Flesh Golem, so OoB isn't an option. Only thing I can think of is Energy Tap, which isn't that useful. Then theres GoLE, but thats only saving me 10 energy every 30 seconds. Any useful skills that I can use?

i'd take oob if that was a choice. it's superior to the golem imo, for AB at least, where soul reaping isn't always that helpful.
if mesmer is your secondary take power drain. at 9 inspiration you get a high return.

I never run into any energy problems with my necro. Energy managements start with knowing what you can handle, and what you can't handle. If, for instance you are running both Vamperic Horrors and Bone Fiends you'll be using too much mana.
Another things that helps a lot other then soulreaping is Consume Corpse, sure, you won't get a minion out of the corpse, but it gives you a teleport, health and 21 mana at 16 death magic, so a netto of 11 energy (+soulreaping). I always put 9 into death magic at least, even if I'm running a blood build because using a body with consume corpse will give you more energy then soul reaping does.

Bone Horror
Consume Corpse
Blood of the Master
Heal Area
Healing Breeze/Verata's Aura (best skill ever in AB)
Taste of Death
Flesh Golem
Death Magic 12+1+3

Skill bar: Show me one and I'll tell you all about it.
Weapon: Anything that helps your recharge and adds energy. I prefere staves, but wands work fine.
Arkantos and your energy management: I have to know; is the golem your ONLY MM skill, or do you use it along side normal minions? Because normally, if you use Fiends and Horrors, you should have no problems since things will die all the time.
Suggestions.
1: Ditch the golem and get OoB.
2: Get Animate Bone Minions. With 6 Soul Reaping or more (which you hopefully have) you'll gain more energy than you lose since you animate 2 minions at once (you'll get the energy when they die, naturally).
3: Stay in battle as constantly as possible; things die frequently enough usually.
4: Kill your old minions. Taste of Death is usually better, as it gains you energy which is far more beneficial than keeping an old minion alive.
Those are my ideas, hope it helps.

Well theres no point in OoB. Theres never been a point for an energy management skill for me as MM. If you're using fiends and vamps i can see your problem and i would change that.
For one thing though I think MM is a useless build for a good AB group. When you have minions and you're in a fight that you are losing you know you're going to either die or run away and leave every part of you damage behind. Saying that the MM is definately mediocre at minuverability and fast capping. Usually you end up in the big fight as a MM you know the one thats always in an AB but you never win the fight it just keeps coming while all the smart groups ignore the big fight and cap...eventually you lose the battle for your team by fighting the whole time.

Horrors are ok too, as meat shields and batteries. They're cheaper and have better armor than Fiends.

I'd quite honestly run Power Drain on your guy if you're having energy issues. If you're not comfortable with Power Drain though, try Drain Enchantment.

I've seen a lot of people run healing circle from factions over heal area...which do you like running more?

Healing Circle and Heal Area is the same thing. The important thing is to realize that Fiends are a lot easier to steal since they tend to stay in one area. Use both Horrors and Fiends but not Vampiric Horrors, because the extra 10 Energy can be used on Healing Breeze. The recharge time is too long and you already have a 25 energy minion spell.
As for OoB, you NEVER ditch Golem if you are playing MM. IDK what gave you the idea but OoB is absolutely crap. If it isn't an elite then it would be an amazing spell, but I rather have an elite than to have energy to spam small spells. You can gain mana easily with Soul Reaping, Consume Corpse, or mesmer spells. But as a MM, you should be a secondary Monk for Mending, Breeze, and Healing Circle.
In between battles, use 3 Blood of the Master and then Taste of Death on your Golem. Raise it back up again and use Blood of the Master one more time before proceeding to another battle.

If you are having energy management problems, perhaps you should put more points into your soul reaping? Especially in AB, things are dying all over the place, so with soul reaping slightly pumped up it shouldn't be a problem 
I use a Golem along with Fiends and Vampiric Horrors and I rarely run into energy problems. If your problems are that bad, I would suggest ditching your golem for OoB-- you may not have a big lvl 26 beast of pwnage, but you will have enough energy to raise a smaller army.

You definitely need more points in Soul Reaping. Personally, unless you are using your secondary wildly, I would suggest putting 16 in Death Magic and 13 in Soul Reaping, with three left over for your secondary.
The only problems that you should run into with E-Management is right after a fight is over and between fights, when you're creating new minions and trying to maintain them. During fights, you should be overly charged as your enemies and minions are dying left and right.
