problem capping elite skills?

I ran into an extremely frustrating problem when I was trying to capture an elite skill in Factions. I brought my signet of capture, went to the boss called "Sun the Quivering" to capture the skill Quivering blade, killed Sun, and when I used my signet of capture, it just faded out as though it was interrupted or something. I've tried this a couple times and still cannot capture the skill. Any suggestions?

blame the new update. Anerf (again) broke more things than they fixed.

Right now theres an error where no Boss COUNTS as a boss (no aura or anything) - so it is impossible to use Sig of CApture right now.

Oh, come on...they screwed up. We all make mistakes, except when Anet makes them it affects a lot of people. It will probably be fixed soon.

I'd love to see the whiners write an application with millions of lines of code, update some of it years later, and not have stuff break.
I'm sure they're more than aware of some of the issues.

The bosses still give a moral boost, so it just seems to be the aura and the skill capturing that are affected.
