I Soloed The Woe Spreader With This Build!!

And Oroson the quite Acolyte!!


Was pretty easy oroson u just have to aggro the left group too (and let them hit u), after u killed Oroson switch to -50 cesta to get 12hp.

Got 2 Staffs in 8 or 9 runs.



i needed like 3 runs for woe spreader (u will need bless from the priest and switch to -50 cesta to get +8 regen always and +15 with hb) u have to evade the knights. i would cast CoH + HB first then CoH+Sliver Armor. That should be enough for Woe Spreader. But if u get interrupted its quite hard.

To tell you the truth I find the easiest is to run this as a 7 hp monk, since I dont have the -20 cests. I can't remember how i get there but it involves a minor rune of divne favor and jaynes staff or the yakslapper i think. Ill have to look again when I get home but it is possible to get 7hp and it works great. Still haven't gottne staff though 0 for 8

7 hp... 13 hp... doesn't matter with prot spirit because 10% of each are: .7 and 1.3. The min dmg is 1 so they both round to 1 dmg.

Sorry for sounding silly with my questions but I don't get several things.

How do you get 13 hp? Dying as a 55 drops you to 13? I seem to recall my necro dropping down to just 1 if I die.

And 13 is better than 55 becos u can survive 2 more hits? Is that the only reason?

And finally, wat do you guys do after u kill ghial? Is it possible to take out all the jade and move on to another boss?

I'm running this with my Mo/E with great success. Reason for my monk is just that I didn't want to spend more money on armour for my ele to get 55hp.

If you have died once along the way, you find yourself at a rez shrine with 1HP. Technically you have less than 1 but you cannot have negative health in the game. Now you switch your -50 Cesta for a -20 Cesta. You notice your health is 13 now. This is a VERY good number for this build. Get your enchants up and you have +3 from mending and +2 from VS. You can't lose more than 1 health per hit. I find that I can tank 2 groups easily with just this.

Now you can easily run to Ghial, no worries about the mobs killing you because your healing is far superior to the damage they dish out.

Get to Ghial and aggro the 3 knights on the bridge, get your energy up to full and then dash in to stand next to Ghial. Use Concentration if the interupts are getting bad, and just tank em. If there are 2 or more rits, go get another group to hit you. I find that the more I have hitting me the easier this is. Do NOT kill the rits or mesmers first though, then Ghial gets a Golem and just keeps on healing himself with "taste of death".

As soon as Ghial drops dead, check your health (should be 20 - 30), make sure you have PS and HB up and at full health just switch back to your -50 Cesta. You are back to 16-17 health So you can tank the groups easily again and pick up your drops.

I've killed him a good number of times but no staff yet Bad thing about this run is that you are only killing Ghial himself and not much else. So time spent is only rewarded with a staff drop...

Wow, so that kinda makes the -20 offhand rather critical then. it was mentioned as being available only in pre-searing?

but yeah, not having a staff drop really makes the whole run feel like time wasted.

the -20 is available as a random drop...heck i have 3 of em...all golds from random drops

Well finally got 2 drops in 5 runs with my e/mo last night. gave up on the mo/e since sliver was only at 12 yuck.
The run takes 2 minutes give or take a few seconds. Made my first vid also =)

Well since I dont have an ele and dont really feel like making one , just went with the mo/e , as you can see by my video its still just as easy , though If I had a -20hp offhand it would be a cakewalk.

Well with E/Mo you can boost Slivers' damage so yeah that would be ideal but Mo/E works just as well.

You can 55 him, managed to kill him twice now this way but it is much easier if you have died once. For my Monk 55 it is a lot easier because I just go grab as many groups as I can there by him then take him out in one run of Sliver. You have to love that -25 above his head
