Hi everyone! just get back in playing this game, can someone update me?

Hi all, how're you doing?

I just get back playing the game after a recess of about half a year-a whole year.

can someone please update me about what they've added to the game?
what noticable update have been made?
what expanation packs are out for sale...

basically about everything :P

zoobooetc - read those updates. It's a completely different game now. Not kidding.

Some highlights:
Factions is out for sale.
Sorrows Furnace is a new area in the Southern Shiverpeaks
Green items has been introduced.
PvP moved to the Battle Islands.
HoH is different now.
This weekend you can test the new proffesions for Nightfall.
Soon you'll be able to buy more character slots.
Storage has gotten the first (hopefully of many) improvement for owners of Factions.

You can toggle your cape and headgear on and off
Tomb of Primevial Kings is now a PvE area with some pretty tough critters (for those new to the place, anyway)
You can now earn Titles in PvE and PvP
Guild Wars: Factions is the latest expansion & it's a whole new realm.

You now capture elite skills AFTER the boss is dead, not while he uses the skill.
Monsters now avoid AoE damage.
There's two new classes, Ritualist and Assassin, and about 300 new skills.
And a new continent.
There's titles you can earn.
You can unlock skills via faction points earned in PvP.
You can no longer take henches into FoW/UW.
Mobs have been moved around/changed (e.g. don't try to farm griffons outside Augury Rock).
There's been massive skill adjustments; hundreds of skills no longer work the way you remember.
There's now 'green items', ie named items with perfect stats, which drops from bosses.
Lots of equipment icons have changed.

It's a whole 'nother game.
