I too was hoping that we could buy extra slots for the weekend event, since my main account has 6 slots of PvE characters. Luckily I have a second account with open slots, otherwise I wouldn't be able to try the new classes out at all.

Yeah... the fact that this store isn't here yet is actually starting to get on my nerves. I wanted to grab slots so I could play in this event too.

If you're looking for visual customization, save yourself the aggravation. I deleted my Ritualist (the only character who hadn't finished one or both games), only to discover that you can only make a male Paragon or a female Dervish -- and even on those, looks are extremely limited. They just upraded the game again and re-added the store, but it gives a window saying they're still working on it if you click on it.

Anet already nerfed shards. It only triggers on scythe attacks now, or when you're blinded. Which means you have to use siggy of midnight.

I hear that.... Gaile Grey's version of 'soon' may not be my version of 'soon', but when they pulled the store last time they removed the 'Enter Store' icon.... Now that is back.... I can't think they're going to have that icon there without access to the store for very long... I hope they get this sorted out. #1 All 6 of my slots are full and I want to demo PvP with the new characters #2 I want to start up some new characters as well! Come on Anet, we're counting on you!

Blinded? Description has nothing about that...just says when you miss with a scythe...

no, this time the store is down and they know it, and its down on propose. "Down for maintenence" it says. It isnt because of server load.

The way I figure it..... If their servers can handle 1 bazzilion people transacting data on character types/skins/coordinates/spells/skills/attacks/damage/armour etc.... Then they could probably handle my credit card... I agree that down for maintenence != server load problems.

Well soon was about 2 days......but its not working ,so short orber must mean around 6hrs to 1 day. Just my guesses lol.

Anet is only getting better- If I could work for any company in the world it would be ANet right now.

$5,000,000-20,000,000 US in pure profit - in the first few days of introducing the store. Not bad for an "online" business. Keep in mind that they don't actually loose anything, they are grabbing that money out of thin air, and it doesn't cost them a thing.

Of course you would still have to consider taxes and CC fees, but it's an enormous profit.
