Curious about the storage update and anets lack of remarks.

I am wondering why any Anet Rep has not made any comments towards the Storage contreversy and the Tyrians getting shafted, i know the common asuumption with the moneymaking, but the lack of any statement about it from Anet is irriating me, if there is a statement please give it to me , i know for a fact a old statement contridicts this so dont bother bringing that up.

yes, this is a attempt to get some info from a rep, and honeslty i dont care what people think about it, anet may have decent PR but it still is seriously lacking in some areas, and i dont like seeing important issues getting ignored!!

I currently have both Campians, and planning on nightfall, so no.

Anet promised that core content like storage would be avilable to everyone, and they broke it, i want awnsers.

Anets lack of reply? have another look on the forum i think you missed all the threads where Gaile Grey explained why it happened (they are right to do what they did) And the extra storage is not "core content" hence factions getting it.

this is additional storage for people who now have many more items to store and actually need the space as opposed to i dont have any new chapter 2 items but i want it antway.

I too seem to remember Anet stating that all the "basic" updates would not be campaign exclusive (storage, trading system, etc). Then again, after the factions character slots thing, who's really surprised? :\

(Also, for the record, I do indeed own factions - that doesn't make it any less of a blatant attempt to force people into spending money.)

i just checked through all of Galies recent posts on the forum back from he dragon festival, and nothing on storage stuff, im about to check out the other anet reps posts too.

nevermind, im starting to figure this is pointless at any rate, i missed a bunch of old posts and despite the whole marketing thingm, i still dislike the abandoning of tyria....

It was a bit of a strange decision by Anet. Especially the attitiude taken in the 'official' replies from their Community Liason. But I suppose this thread would be better off closed before the 'Anet can do no wrong' brigade invade.

NCSoft there publisher is taking a hit on money due to Auto Assault, and there Super Hero MMORPH...

Anet is doing fine from the looks of things .. but when there publisher is losing money... it's not uncommon to have the area's that do make money.. to try and make even more money.

My theory is pressure from NCSoft to perform better (even though Anet is holding it's own weight) on it's other games to offset there losses.

They did make strong points, interviews, etc about "Content" is expansion, game mechanics (aka storage, new game engine, etc) was universal. Then they are spinning out "core" enhancements aka game engine, user interface, is what they really meant.

Alex and Gaile have made many posts regarding this topic. I'm fairly certain a post made by Alex on TGH explained Anet's stance on the issue quite clearly, so go try and look that post up.
