Yeah ok, this is a nerf thread.
8 adrenaline, dazes if target is suffering from a condition.
counter: CoP, purge conditions..... any other condition removal attempt is 100% futile.
The initial condition is absolutely no issue, paragons and dervishes have more conditions that a ranger on speed. 8 adrenaline can be built is 5 seconds with IAS and even quicker if taking damage.
Its broad head arrow... without the long recharge, 25 energy cost, and "this attack will always miss because you shoot it like an ICBM into orbit".
If somebody wants to tell me how to counter this awsome, I keep guardian on me and mend ailment (I'm not going to purge or CoP for reg conditions) every time its up.... I still fear the paragon more than any dervish, warrior, sin, or even mesmer.
It needs the nerf stick... even CoP and purge are low percentage with more than the paragon attacking you. A sole monk in 4v4 is basically done by this skill. Even with guardian up there is still a 55% chance its gonna hit you.

It is a powerful skill. No doubt. But it's also an Elite. I don't see a reason to nerf it. Instead of looking at the skill in a bubble, look how the environment is changing, look how skills are changing.
Look how much burning was just introduced. No one is saying "OMFG!!" about that. But a caster who gets interupted by a condition that is applied from (1) an elite, (2) a physical melee attack that must hit, (3) must already be suffering a condition, and (4) future attacks which must hit shouldn't really be crying about "Whaaaa, I can't cast now!" They should be finding something else to do or using a signet, etc. Just look how the sigs are changing. Ever wonder why they're getting better than our old signets?
Just look to the future.
Cry and whine about sand shard. That was ridiculous.
But I don't feel robed when I get java-dazed and get interupted by a short range jav.
Walk side ways and watch the word "Stray" and "Dodge" show up

are u kidding me.....u cant live with with stunning hitting you?
Uh Condition removal FTW?
just b sure ur clean b4 it hits, or clean it up afterward, it aint that hard to throw off mend at 2 seconds instead of one, just put some distance between u and the paragon b4 u try it...
and it dont tkae 5 seconds to build it, more like 8-10, even longer since most paragons will b using other adrenal attacks to use up 1 strike or chanting to take up even more time

Maybe we should nerf the Broad headed arrow that can give a 21 sec unconditional dazed with a 15 sec recharge?
Learn to play with it.
Remember both skills have to hit you to inflict the dazed.

I agree with malveaux, this new chapter is changing the dynamics of lots of things in general. For instance, if you want to interrupt someone, skills like Power Leak aren't going to do too much anymore because so many new skills aren't spells--this in turn will actually make spell casters like Eles better. The ways that enchants and conditions affect skill chaining are much different now as well, obviously.
I like the way they've shaken things up with Nightfall. The last chapter's classes really didn't change too much compared to those of this one.
