Mesmer's skills - bug or what ?

Hi all, i am tryng to understand if the Dev team has changed something or if this thing is a bug...
Till a week ago i was used to cast power spike skill to interrupt the troll unguent from rangers...now it has totally no effect...i tried also sympathetic visage and ancestor's visage...nothing of nothing..no effect on rangers...seems that most of mesmer's skills are totally useless on rangers now...can anyone confirm this please ? i need to understand if i am the only one bugged here.

All the "Power Blah" skills from mesmer only work on spells, this has always been the case. Troll Unguent is not a spell. If you thought it used to work, either there used to be a bug, someone else was also interrupting the skill properly (which made you think you interrupted it), or you were simply mistaken.

sympathetic visage and ancestor's visage are not interrrupts at all, and they always only work on MELEE attacks, so not sure what you were trying to do with them. They would work against Thumpers (Rangers using hammers), but not against bows.

You can never intruppt Troll Ungent with a Power skill. If you think you have, someone else did it at the same time.

However, you can use Cry of Frustration ; )

And Leech Signet.

And Signet of Disruption if the target is hexed :P
