Imo, there is no best. Everything has its place. Melandrus is only good against daze, balt increases run speed/melee damage and is the most versatile imo, lyssa is just wow if your attacking somebody spamming skills, with grenth if your attacking somebody using a lot of enchants they are gonna be pissed, dwayna heals you rediculous amounts if your spamming skills like you should be.
Give Anet credit they did a hell of a job making every one of the god forms have its own place to dominate.
PERSONALLY I think they should weaken them and make them maintainable. Like at 12 mysticism is lasts 30 seconds with 30s recharge.

What about deep wound as well, its so freaken hard to kill one of these... +200hp and deep wound doesnt effect them.

If you have a good running buff on your team Melandru is your man. No blind/cripple/deep wound/degen is so awsome. With that +200hp he is impossible to spike.
If you are flag running Balthazar. A full minute 33% faster will get you morale boost so fast its not funny. Also very good if you are being ganked and need to get back quickly. Balthazar is really the best to me. We are used to running a draw conditions or smiter so conditions are not that big of a deal. The +40 armor completely negates the low armor that dervishes have. The running speed keeps the pressure up on a party.
Grenth is very good but limited at the same time. It only hits 1 target per attack skill. Sythe attack skills are not very good. Most of them req you to remove an enchantment. With another type of weapon its great. Too good in fact. Called shot anyone. 2 second recharge 5e and cannot miss its target. I expect this to be changed to only sythe attacks.
