lvl 12 warrior with 40 k

What would you buy, i need armour, a sword and a shield. (i got this money from someone i know going out farming and getting me a rare shield, and i thank him for this, and because i cant seem to get enough strenght for the shield i got 40k for it)

And is there anything else you think i should get?

get ran to droks (yaks>beacons>droks) buy your armor, you dont have enough for a GOOD weapopn.. but you can get a decent one, I dont know exactly what I would buy.

Just keep playing the game, save it for when you're level 20 and purchasing new equipment.

Buy a Storage account then put your money in there, wait till your level 20 and know what build your gonna play.. Then buy what you need, spending 40k at level 12 is completely useless!

Whoa, buy a storage account to hold 40k? Are you stark raving mad?

Best advice was from monty - hold that 40k until you've at LEAST gotten to level 20 and found yourself farther in the game - far enough to where YOU know what you need, not what a panel of strangers say you need.

No point wasting that money unless its on max al armour, and no point buying a spiffing new sword only to find you like the idea of axes in a week etc.

Just play thru, its amasing how far in the game u can get with naff armour, I baught the set at Yaks for my Necro, and then survived on collector stuff until I got to Grotto for the 15K stuff.

Or do what else was suggested, get to Droks and buy your armour now, or Keineng if you have factions, but personally id save it.

Pretty sure DJJD2006 meant "Pay the Xunlai Agent 50 gold to open your Storage Account"...

Please dont encourage people to ruin the game for themselves.

Having strong armor so you dont fail on quests and missions by dying does not ruin the game. Half of my guild did this on their first characters and ALL their second characters did it. It speeds up your pace through the rest of the storyline, that is all. Having someone else run the missions for you would be ruining the game.

im really not sure, i think just keep playing how i was. and just get a good sword.

Are you new to GW Tomanders? If so, you can get a decent sword, like the victos blade for 5k , a collector shield, maybe later on in the game or if you have friends playing factions, tell em to get one of those collector shields for you. And keep your money for max armor later on in the game (You can travel to kaineng from lion arch and get max armor there as well)

ive got a friend on it who got me the victos bulwark shield in the first place, he said hes looking for a sword for me.

Play through the game. Get ascended and to droknars forge at least. Dont ben run as you will miss alot of the storyline etc.

Do the skill quests to unlock lots of skills.

Use a plain white max dmg weapon until you can figure out what one you really enjoy.

Playing through the game should fund your armor and materials from droknars forge.

Once you start to get used to the game and know what you like and dont like you can decide on what you want to spend your gold on.

You may want to add to the 40k and get a set of 15k armor. You may decide you want a nice weapon and use the gold for that.

Put it aside and dont waste it on buying dye or salvage kits as it will quickly go.
