I got factions recently and have a level 18 prophecies character. I want to get a pet crane,my question is,is there anywhere else i can find one in the wild besides the haiju swamp? Thanks

One of my characters charmed a Crane in the Zen Daijun mission/explorable area.

There are level 15 Cranes in Pongmei Valley. They're just near impossible to capture before the Yeti do.

the ones in Pongmei valley by the yetis aren't that hard to capture if you take running skills and the yetis charm the dire tiger first. my ranger managed to steal an elder crane of them while they got distracted with the tiger after 3 attempts >.>;; (was aiming for the tiger but somehow got the bird <.<;;;; )

the cranes tend to be near the Boreas Seabed side of Pongmei Valley

There's a few in Pongmei valley, but the easiest place to find them remains Haiju lagoon.

you could always just kill the Yeti's after they charm them, leaving the pet free for the taking.

how I got my lvl 20 Dire Crab at the start of Boreas, only problem is you need smart non hench people so they don't kill it before you can cap it.

Normally, that doesn't work. The thing in Boreas Seabed was a bug, iirc.

I got my Elder Crane in Pongmei Valley: Every group of Yeti there does have one level 15 pet with it, but as mentioned, normally they'll charm them before you get a chance. I got mine from the group with the warrior yeti boss. That group doesn't (at least not always) have a ranger with it, so you're free to charm the Crane at your leisure.
