New guru titles?

Does anyone know anything about the new guildwarsguru titles? I think I read something about them planning a change a while back, but anyway, apparently I'm a Lion's Arch Merchant now instead of councilor/high council (not sure which level I had reached).

I'm sure I could think of some far worse titles. And the ones I give you, you can't remove regardless of how high you attempt to get your post count

cann't really tell the ranking of each titles... they don't have much hierarchy. And I don't like being a desert normad.... sound very low....

"I wanted to create a title list that displayed both a tie-in to Guild Wars as well as utilizing a simple progression list that people could easily understand. This follows the fairly well known path for experienced players, using the game’s mission progression as a guide. While it is only using chapter one locations as a guide, the reasoning for this is that chapter one is the foundation for all other chapters – and to keep constantly changing the title lists for each and every chapter as it’s released would be too bothersome. Chapter one is the cornerstone of the entire franchise and this list would keep the forum members rooted. Thus, players will be able to see at a glance exactly where the poster stands in relation to other posters fairly easily."
And the majority voted for these titles The contest ran for a full 2 weeks where anyone could have submitted their entries. The voting lasted for 5 days after that where the community could decide on the Top 5 entries. We allowed plenty of time for people to decide and to submit their own ideas. The previous system no one had a say, so we wanted to open it up to the community this time and give people plenty of time to either submit or vote on their favorites.

Invading the thread, but I believe this qualifies under the topic.
I'm experiencing a bug that isn't allowing my new title to show, I still have "Don Quixote" instead of "Desert Nomad" like I should. Everyone else's title shows up fine. Is this fixable? =/

Is it because they can make you look like a 'Hasn't-completed-Prophecies-yet-n00b' if you have less than 4500 posts?

The new titles are okay, they do have an easily identifiable hierarchy. I would've preferred something that wasn't related to a specific Chapter of GW though, after all we are approaching chapter 3 now.
