Follow the relevant link there and fill out a ticket. Take a screenshot if you can and tell them the exact location and time of the incident.

usually could i get the money bck??
The Pointless
Nope, but usually the scammer loses his account. I'd advise against asking for your gold back because it will be seen as begging and most likely be ignored.

Nothing can be done about it, I'm afraid. Report it, the fool will lose £30-50 (depending on where he lives and what games he has on his account) REAL MONEY. Learn from your mistakes, too and be careful in future.
gosl
Yeah, I don't you'll get your gold back. As The Pointless says, just gonna have to learn from your mistakes and be careful next time.
I'm curious though, what was the scam?

Not been scammed by one but it's pathetic to the point that said scammer should have a hammer taken to his computer and his game collection.
Anyhoo, look at things this way: The gold you lost can be clawed back (With some heavy farming I guess). Should the scammer be banned that fool's lost a lot of real-world cash. No doubt the little brat will be throwing a tantrum and screaming that he hates his family for not doing something about it. Probably. Sounds like a classic punishment if you ask me.

Hang on, CCR? This is Guild Wars, not RF...

Remember to follow report instructions carefully. If you miss something important, your report will be worth nothing.
Caleb
Unless this is the 20th time someone has reported him for "scamming" by doing an item switch, he will not lose his account as some believe above.
There is a progression of discipline, ranging from a few hours blockage (unable to play) up to permanent blockage of the account. Other than "bots", it would be rare that someone was permanently blocked.
Especially when all you need to do is verify the trade window before you click "ACCEPT".
I am as anti scammer as the next guy, but we must protect ourselves first and foremost. And what the hell is CCR?
