Hey I decided to go around capping all the elites for my chars, and I've come to trying to get Quivering Blade for my warrior. I can't do this however because I'm allied with the Am Fah for some reason. It's always the Am Fah, never the Jade Brotherhood, and I can never figure out what triggers it, but after a while all of my characters somehow become allied with Am Fah. I don't know what quest sets it off, but I've done all Kaineng quests with my monk, so none are active anymore, yet she's still allied with the Am Fah as well. I've never been bothered by this, until now when I need to cap Quivering Blade.
If you don't know, by allied with the Am Fah I mean they're all green NPCs for me, and none of the pop-ups show up for me. In addition this means the only boss that has Quivering Blade doesn't spawn as well. I have a few quests still on my warrior, but if anyone knows I'd like to know which one I should drop. It's quite tedious running here and there and all around gathering the quests, so I don't want to have to drop all of them unneccisarily.
Anyone have any insight?
Allied with Am Fah :/ Can't cap them.

There was one quest where you pick up a poisoned chalice or some such thing, at which point you get the option to drink it or refuse. If you don't choose either (just escape out of the options/walk away) the Am Fah remain as allies.
It's possibly that one? I can't remember the name of the quest or how it progresses from that point on.

This is the quest that makes the Am Fah your friends. I do it with all my new characters to have free run of the area.

Will going out with someone who is hostile with the Am Fah make them all hostile? Or will my allied with Am Fah status override their hostile with Am Fah status?
EDIT2: bah just tested it. didn't work :/
EDIT: on that note, do any of you have chars that are hostile towards Am Fah? I can't find someone in the Marketplace willing to zone outside with me.

EDIT: Well I went down to where Brother Tosai was even though I had dropped the quest and he was still there. When I talked to him he rambled about the Chalice. Is it normal for him to always be there, even if I don't have the quest?
Dropping the Seek out Tosai quest will not turn them against you as it is the quest before that one that makes them your allies.
As far as I know, you won't be able to make them friendly again once you turn them hostile from your point in the game. And no you can't become allies with the Jade Brotherhood.

You can also drink, at that point Tosai, wants you to follow him in the undercity where he sends waves of afflicted at you. So you have waves and a constant -2 degen, if you survive then the am-pha also become hostile, but the reward is the same as not drinking so there really is no point.
They will not become hostile until you drink or don't. You might as well wait untill you are ready to pick a side, the game is so much easier when you don't have am-pha jumping you every few steps in the bazaar zone.
