armors lower res in town?

i just noticed this after the patch for nightfall...the armor of other people look very er..low resolution compared to mine...i would see peoples armor lookin less detailed..as shown in the screen shot..but when we zone we both look alright..is this added recently or?

yeah its always been like that. Your armor looks sick while everybody elses armor looks like a 3rd grader drew it.

it didnt seem that obvious to me till the latest patch..i guess the really pretty graphics make me seem more outstanding.

its always been like that. i noticed it first time when i was at my friends hosue and he was playing on his warrior. his FOW armor looked so nice compared to all the others i had seen, then i realised they tone it down to reduce lag.

yea, hence why when there were only a few warriors around with FoW armour in the early stages, everyone else would laugh at them and say things like "HAHAHA you wasted 200million on that shitty looking armour??"
