Ok there are three altar matches in HA. You got Broken Tower, Courtyard, and the HoH. Quite frankly these altar matches are broken in my opinion because of two things.
1. Bodyblocking the hero
2. Interupting the hero.
My suggestions for each.
1. He ghosts, just like the average player can by doing the revert turn lag step thing. He is a ghost after all.
2. You have two options here. Number one, make him only interuptable by means of knockdown, the equivalent of him having mantra of resolve. Number two, reduce claim resource down to a 1 second cast.
Right now if you don't have high AE damage, any team can just block your hero in (since hes got bad pathing and stupid) and just heal until the game ends. If thats not enough, a single ranger can keep the hero from capping without breaking a sweat.

Claim Resource to 1 second cast, LAWL, sorry but that's pure stupidity.

DeathandtheHealing
ya, i'll laugh with firey on this one too.
but bodyblock is a key skill, some ppl dont know how to do it so you should take advantage of it... or kill the bodyblocker
if your so worried about getting screwed over by this stuff, do it yourself.

To defeat body blocking you could:
- Have the person walking the ghost to simply back up and move far out sweeping to the left or right and approach at a different angle.
- Kill the body blocker.
These aren't the only ways, just some suggestions, you seem to be frustrated with HoH losses due to skilled teams using anti-capping tactics. The 1 second cast for Claim Resource would not work very well, most good teams are specifically designed to be setup for anti-cap. By removing this aspect from the HoH experience you would be removing one of the very things that defines HoH to be what it is now. To do such a thing would be comparable to removing the flag stand from GvG or removing the random team aspect of RA. The ghost and capping the altar and making it the duration it is and how it works are one of the reasons people play HoH, aside from seeing their name or guilds name across everyone's screen and getting a gold animal to pop out of your chest.
Instead of suggesting more nerfs to the game, try figuring out how to use what you have in front of you to your own advantage. That is what defines a bad player vs. a good player. Playing the hand that you're dealt.

He's probably someone that gets to HoH and gets overexicted because he's killed the ghost. Any skilled team lets the Ghostly Hero die and keep on interrupting, this releases a LOT of pressure from the monks and it's just easier
