Ello,
I'm a healer monk that occasionally uses the good old smiting prayers as well... I am using Brohn's Holy Rod and Byzzr's Benediction as my focus item.
Would I be better off staying with Byzzr's Benediction or buying Incetol's Focus item instead?
From what I can tell there is very little difference between the two focus items, but I'm wanting the best output from my little monk. I also have Brohn's Holy Staff and the Scar Eater but all these are Staves (two handed).
Byzzr's Benediction or Incetol's Focus?

I say Incetol's Focus because it has a better chance of HCT then Byzzrs has of HRT. Other than that they are pretty much the same.

The benediction is better for general use, Incetols is better for healing. nuf said.
They aren't really the same either...if you decide to go into prot, the benediction is still useful, but the focus is useless.
yes.

it really depends what you are looking for if you have all healing spells, use incetol (most heal spell have quick recharge, if you have a lot of longer recharge spells, use the benediction). most people find more satisfaction in the recharge because it makes your chances greater of using that certain spell again, and the benediction works for all spells, no matter which attribute *spells, not skills*

When playing healer, I generally use the Stormray along w Incetol's focus. Since my skillbar is usually filled w quick recharge heals, I don't need the faster recharge. The fast casting though (36% chance w my weapon set) has often saved a teammate or two from imminent death.
