Easier 'Add to party'

When you click on a name in chat and it appears in the whisper box, it should also appear in the +to party box. Or maybe Hold ctrl + click to make it appear in the party box. Save a lot of time typing out ridiculously spelled/long + also impossible to type Japanese text names.

Thought this must have been suggested before, but couldn't find a topic anywhere.

Why? are you too lazy to click twice?

errr... it appears in chat window, you select it with mouse, clik Ctrl+C and go in party window and click Ctrl+V. TADA magicly the name appears in there and all you have to do is klick on the + button. takes me abou 1.5 seconds to add someone.

im sorry but i dont see the point in upgrading this. let ANET rather concentrate on reducing the incredible lag on the servers.

It may take you and me 1.5 seconds to add someone, but I've wasted upwards of five minutes trying to explain to clueless newbies how copy and paste works so they can invite themselves instead of begging groups to invite them.

This very small change would make the game more intuitive and slightly lessen the learning curve.

I really hate that big, ugly red message that says 'the merged party would be too large', just because someone was .02 seconds faster in inviting someone, who is now in their group. Still, I don't know that this is really needed.

Sure, you can take the time to type in a name into the party window, or use the Windows copy and paste function to do it, but there should be an easy, intuitive way to do this in game. I like the idea of a Ctrl + click or something. Can't believe its not in the game already.

Why not, I'd certainly like not having to quickly try to copy/paste a name in a panic to get a monk before someone else invites them. lol
