Hi again,
Today my question is: can bones be used as raw material in the same sense as wood is used to obtain parchment or charcoal from artisans?
A broader one: can all common crafting materials be used to obtain rare ones?
And another one: are all rare materials craftable? So far I know about parchment, leather, charcoal, steel, linen. What about silk?

I don't think bones can be used to craft rare materials
though many common materials can be made into rare materials, I think it would cost about the same as just buying the rare material
it's cheeper to buy a steel ingot, but it would be better to craft a glass thing

Seems that currently you can't use Bones to craft anything. Also, not all of the Rare Mats can be crafted, as the Jadeite Shards and the Chunks of Amber, not to mention Globs of Ectoplams and Obsidian Shards can only be obtainded in specific ways.

Some are easier to buy and some are better to craft, especially if you have raw material "free", i.e. salvaged from crappy drop items or free, i.e. from drops.
I'm asking because I get bones in dozens (sth. like 50 - 60 bones one run sometimes) from drops. Selling them is OK, but maybe they can be crafted into some rare material.

Currently bones aren't use for crafting rare materials, just armor.

Materials Trader will buy m y glittering dust @ 30g for 10 piles
therefore 5 piles (needed for glass vial) is worth 15g
plus 20g to craft vial is 35g per vial....
Rare Materials Trader will buy glass vials for more than 35g! Scam the NPCs - they neither know, nor care!!

Tsk Tsk Tsk Celestial. Scamming a hard working NPC who just wants to make some money to feed his little NPC's at home. How do you sleep at night.
