First of all Iway gets pwned by 3 gimmick builds and 2 original builds ive used


Ive destroyed R10 IWay yes R10 with Bspike, another good one is NR/tranq, and Tri smite demolish iway 1 2 3 poof gone. If you really want rank do as someone in another thread stated pug and everytime u see someone do something right ask to add to friends. Be pleasant, or learn to call a good-decent Bspike.

yea, iway can get pwned by eoe bomb too.

everybody knows that iway isnt invincible.

And that accomplishes what? Trash talk us all you want but we're still going to play and enjoy the game. Don't like it? Don't play HA then.

A good idea .. would be ask all the iwayers to play a different build

I've gone against so many iwayers, and all it is really is pressure ... and trust me I hate calling against them because all I target is freaking pets!!!

rank +6 or +9 are often no different from lower ranked people. Really I think it annoying trying to get in HA groups just because of these high rank teams

Hmm, maybe I don't tomb often enough, but I really have no problem with IWAY. Some of the more accepted builds out there seem more braindead then IWAY.

I even like playing IWAY from time to time, although I couldn't stand playing it for hours on end. The builds' lack of tactical options gets a bit boring after a while.

i'd estimate, less than it would take for a player to farm enough gold/materials for a set of obsidian armor

it's just another form of farming for them.

Those rank 9 iwayers are not the rank 9's and other good players who despide IWAY. The rank 9 iwayers are those who got every rank through iway, and nothing else. Let them play balanced..and they'll go like ' voice communication wtf! "

What I hate is whenever I say anything that goes AGAINST what an iwayer thinks, all I get is "Whats your rank??" So I emote, out comes the tiger and what does he say..."OMG IWAY Noob, stop getting fame from iway pretending that your good"...ya...3 fame is from iway, that was from a group of guildies waiting for gvg, and we were all hammer (bunny thumpage) wars with battle rage.

I once had a discussion with a friend about PVP. He was new to the game, like me a former First Person Shooter Fan and asked me what the different forms of PVP were. I gave him the following answer and in all honesty, i'm still living up to that.

"Well, there is Random Arena. It's basically Counter-Strike on Publics. You get every single one of the lamers, you'll learn new insults with each growing PVP hour. It's good ot have some fun owning morons. Nothing more."

"Then there is Team Arena. It's Quake 3 on a Public. You'll get the occasional "gg" but unless you're allready part of the community or know someone you'll have a hard time to get into any "clan" there."

"Oh and there is Alliance Battles. Alliance Battles are like Natural Selection. Great concept on paper, but once the average Lamer Community finds out about it, it goes down the drain. So it did. Prepare to feel like the only semi intelligent being on the world - and then feel stupid for even having thought about Aliance Battles"

"Tombs, aka Heroes Ascent. Oh boy. You think Counter-Strike on a Public is bad? Tombs are worse. It's like throwing the worst of the worst scum into one pot. Tell them they're awesome and professional gamers. Mix some Bugs, Exploits and possible Cheats into the mix and you've got Heroes Ascent. One large ugly pot of egos large enough to fit a fricking Borg Cube in it, but all that is in there are 2 braincells playing "Catch me". Yep, it is that bad."

Sadly the state of PVP in Guildwars ,and that is even though it is meant as THE argument FOR Guildwars, has degraded into the worst nightmare. No monthly fee, plus opportunities to instantly notice newcomers and discrimnate (stupid, stupid rank system, its intention was great, but the result has a really bad influence on the community), no actions taken against harassment or active griefing, and a hint of "Pro Gamer" Flair by throwing in prizes for winning in PVP.

Don't forget having to spend 5 minutes chasing down the last member every 5 matches or so in RA...

They are, like necro spike, and ranger spike.. with the exception of the caller. It's so easy - about the most difficult task you'll have is killing a spirit every now and then because that happens to be a bit more than "T + 1".

I also find it very ammusing that certain spikers in this post think IWAY is way below them and is for noobs, when I've seen these so called skilled spikers playing balanced.

HA doesn't take skill... actually GVG barely takes skill with some of the builds people come up with.... So, actually, Guild Wars hasn't needed skill since they got rid of the Dodgeball Arena

... right, but so is iway i just don't think it's any worse than all-out spiking And I don't believe people that iway, blood spike, ranger spike. whatever spike their fame or ladder position are in any position to be calling other people noobs

iway, whatever(slap any class here) spike, smite, vim etc belong to the same category and of course there's the lesser and greater noobs within that category. :P
