What is Sorrows Furnace? While browsing the Nightfall pics on the GGuild Wars site I noticed a tab for Sorrow Furnace pics, What is it?

Sorrow's Furnace (and Grenth's Footprint, by proxy) is a high-end area in Prophecies, added on several months after the game's release as additional, free content.

Sorrow's Furnace consists of two new, large and challenging explorable regions located deep in the Shiverpeak Mountains between Spearhead Peak and Snake Dance. These areas contain the following:

Seventeen new quests, most of them fully repeatable and offering high XP rewards

Four new cinematics

A variety of new monsters, including new Stone Summit Dwarves that are the strongest in the Shiverpeak Mountains, and entirely new types of creatures that are being introduced to the game for the first time

Boss monsters named after the contest winning entries

Boss monsters in the new Sorrow's Furnace regions drop newly-introduced green "unique" weapons that are named after the boss.

Sorrows Furnace was a really awesome place and kinda harder than other places got ambushed by farming . Its not fun anymore.

Just wondering. Anyone here has problems entering Grenth's Footprint? It seems that when I enter that explorable, it will autoshut down. I searched in the other forums & this is the closest match I can find. There was an error report sent to Anet & I have also drop an e-mail last week regarding this matter. Anyone facing the same problem?

Did the entire Sorrows quests 2 months ago and it took me about 4 hours, with 3 people + 5 heroes, it isnt that hard anymore, but can still be challeging if you dont have the right builds to counter enemies over there.

Do you have DirectSong installed? If so, check that your Windows Media Player is set to automatically obtain a license, then do a re-install of the music (run the flash player again, let it check that you have the music, then get it to re-obtain a license if needed).

If it's not that, I have no clue.

Even tho I've had the game since the beginning I only completed Sorrows Furnace a few days ago. Was very good and got some nice screenshots. Worth the visit if you have it.
