In the PvP preview event we were shown 3 different armors for each profession. I would like to bring to attention the Paragon +10 vs Lightning Dmg armor. I am worried because in the latest pics released by Anet the Paragon seems to be sporting a 15k version of this armor... But there isn't much of a difference at all. Not to be over dramatic but I hope they put more effort into the other 15k armors and this one is just the flop of the group.

It is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early to speculate about armors.
Remember Factions preview? The armors in that event weren't anything like the actual armors that ended up being in the game (PvP AND PvE alike). Sure there were some elements that were common but still... We won't know how 1.5k/15k will look until the game is released.

Um thats the same armor in different lighting. no chance in hell they showed us a 15k set... besides I can clearly see its the exact same armor in different lighting (its even dyed the same... dang dude!)

edit - its two different guantlets. and i think a differnent kilt. same chest piece tho... its just a mix of different armor.

I reckon they will update the armours, and the difference we are seeing are the fruits of such an update. They've changed it a little. But not enough to warrant it being called 15k. And to who mentioned the difference between Kurzick 1.5k and 15k - There is a lot of difference; don't dye it black, and you'll notice it more.

I would be surprised if the 1.5k and 15k variants of armors in Nightfall are very similar... they are very similar for a lot of classes in Factions, not all.
If you don't think it's relevant to use the past to predict the future then having opened a thread for discussion in the first place was rather pointless, as it's the only solid thing we have to go by.

Ummm, only the chest piece is Empyrean Armor, all the other pieces are from the Radiant armor set. And yes, the Empyrean armor looks different than the one we saw last weekend, but it could easily be an updated look for the basic armor.

Will you really be able to see the difference anyway? The nipples and midriff on those suits are blinding as it is. I'm surprised the 15k version doesn't have a naval piercing.
