In Game desciption of the skill :
Spell.Target fleshy creature becomes diseased for ~24 seconds and slowly loses health.(Attrib: Death Magic)
Ok so according to the skill description, anything that can bleed i should be able to use this skill on,EVEN allies(1).The problem is that it doesnt let me use it on allies. So either the descrition should be changed to say hostile or enemy or foe, or i should be allowed to use it on my allies.
BTW Wheres the Search button gone?I Wanted to see if anyone had said anything about this skill but search button isnt there anymore.

I know it may sound weird trying to use this skill on allies, but the reason i would like to use it on allies, is i allied warrior run in a group of 3 people i use that on him and the 3 people get diseased, then after he spread his disease i use Tainted Flesh on him and remove the disease from him.
I know i may get responses to just use tainted flesh that will give the same result , but it doesnt, Tainted flesh only makes the enemy diseased if they melee attack the one that has it, if Rotting Flesh works like the desciption says casters and anyone not attacking the one i use it on would still get diseased.
Rotting Flesh Mistake.

Gaile said some skill descriptions were fishy and needed standardisation or whatever the correct word here is.
It's a bad wording. That's all. A.net won't implement skills that hurt other people. ( imagine that in RA )
Life attunement is bad enough, some of the ranger spirits too.

If that is the case then i understand, sucks that i ( and other) coudnt be able to use skills like these in a good way, still i see the reasoning behind it.
Well seeing as its just description that needs to be changed, atleast now they know of another one that needs to be changed , if they didnt.

and there is another little problem with rotting flesh, it doesnt re-stack over itself.
for example i have it so that it lasts for 20 seconds, if i recast it 15 seconds later it will end in 2 seconds. (thats counting the 3 seconds cast time of the spell)

Why not cast Tainted flesh on all allies and your self, that why every attacking enemy gets it. energy use is small even if you are in a 8/8 group.

I always just assumed when it said Rotting Flesh should be used on 'Fleshy Creatures' - that meant it worked best on - fleshy creatures - namely, the afflicted...
