Something different, something annoying - W/E

Again, I enjoy Glyph of Essence. Its humorous on a Warrior, and even better on a gimmick Warrior, like this one... picture this, if you will.
Glyph of Essence + Shock + Meteor Shower + (weapon switch) + Hamstring + Warrior's Endurance + Attack Skills
Stonefist Gloves makes your KD last 3 seconds - long enough for the next rock on Meteor Shower. Shock wont trigger Essence cuz its a skill, but it will remove Meteor Shower's cast time. Weapon switching (to a 12/15/-1 fire focus from a shield) then hitting Hamstring will force your target to stay in range of the Meteor Shower until the first KD occurs. Warrior's Endurance lets you regain energy and use attack skills.
The problem is you get 20 points of Exhaustion, which means you arent back up to full energy until Meteor Shower has recharged... unless you find another way to knock a target down. (but shock is unconditional and thus my favorite) Fortunately, you dont need full energy, or even full energy regen, with Warrior's Endurance.
Since Meteor Shower hits so hard, its likely best to go ahead and put some points into Fire... and points into Fire and using a Sword makes me think about Conjures... 10 or more extra points per swing off of a precast sounds fun.
Hell, to be truly annoying and confusing you could bring Glyph of Lesser Energy and Mark of Rodgort (not suggested tbh). You can keep them burning until they remove the hex (which they probably have to be standing up to do). Hell, only bring 2 Fire and have a friend bring Fragility for the 2 triggers of it per 1.33 seconds (126 damage per 4 seconds).
Keep in mind that while an enemy is stationary for basically 13 seconds Dolyak Signet isnt that bad of a skill to bring... and Dolyak Signet is best used with Desperation/Drunken Blow.
Above all, remember this is a gimmick build please.
EDIT: Or not. Just tried something new with this build, with hillarious results. Ill post more later, tomorow.

warriors deal dmg and soak dmg... if you want annoying play touchers, mesmers, earthbinders and lots more
IMO its just a waste to get double exhaustion for low dmg combos with huge cast time (not to mention 2 pips of energy regen...)

Its really, really, really, really terrible but I'm going to do it.
Meteor Shower does not hit "so hard".
Edit: Needs more "really"

Well, when your on your ass for 9 seconds straight because of it, eating 3x91=273, and your in a bed of coals thats doing 38 dps (14 of which thanks to MS)... 'so hard' starts to sound like a pretty reasonable description. The only reason that people dont respect Meteor Showers power is because they are only very rarely caught in one, and then, its even rarer that they sit in it for its duration. Now, all that with no healing...
The point is to surprise/incapacitate/kill a RA monk and let your team do what they will to the rest.
@lucifer
You need to read the description of Glyph of Essence before you talk about long cast times. And the addition of Bed of Coals to this build makes it hit much harder... as once a 60 AL target is in the Meteor Shower they WILL die unless they get outside healing. (even from full health) It might be low damage, but its alot of low damage that they cant do anything about.

I've tried similar builds in PvE and they work great. Outside of the highest end areas nothing can survive it. The warrior health and armor allow the time to set things up and once it goes off there's little left as long as you know how to pull right, bunch mobs up and don't get hit by multiple groups.
I've even tried similar builds in the arenas with very devastating effects. I don't think it works very well in the higher arenas where teams have specific builds and are very well organized, but in the lower ones its quite shocking, seeing as no one ever goes for the warrior until last, and then after meteors fly, (if someone survived and rezed) it causes so much confusion that the group will be trying to figure out where the hell the other elementalist is and buy that time its coming off again.
Definitely not a super build, but more than worth a try as its something different and heaps of fun to see a wiped team suddenly proclaim, "WTF it was the warrior!?!" LOL

Wow I gotta try this as well. I love using W/E.

I think this is a fun build to run if you want some good dmg fast.
I used it on my friend who is an Assassin, I added in Riposte and Deadly Riposte and laid him flat.
Now he is trying some kind of A/Ele build to see if he can kill a 100 AL dummy faster than me...

considered Shove! {Elite} or Water Trident {Elite}
or you saving elite skill for sword attack?

Biggest real problem I see here is lack of slots...
Glyph of Essence
Meteor Shower
(swap weapon)
Glyph of Lesser Energy
Bed of Coals
Warrior's Endurance
Crude Swing
Yeti's Smash
None Shall Pass
I really wish I had some extra space in there...kinda leaves you a one-shot wonder... But I gotta say, landing multiple people on their collective asses for 12 + seconds and heaping damage on them does sound like hella fun. I have to try this.
I must say, screw everyone that wants to gripe; you're a genius... More to the point, you would be hella fun at a party, and I would crack a beer with you any day.
Me
P.S. Oh yeah, and I know you like shock; I know its conditionless and less expensive (other than double exhaustion [ewww])... I like doing this to the whole group that wraps around the last guy alive, and this lets me hit multiple people. Besides, Id be just willing to bet that when (if) they get off their butts, the first thing their going to do is MOVE.

Shove is not a shout. And it locks my non-attack skills for a few seconds, invalidating it for this purpose. Effective as it may be, Water Trident is also conditional.
You need some sort of snare to prevent them from running out of the Meteor Shower.

This build isn't annoying. Its fun and can be effective. To be annoying you're meant to dump MS and take firestorm instead. So you can run around saying "Hamstorm!"
Plus if you actually kill anyone you can laugh
