When do you leave a Random Arena match?

Can't see a poll option, so I'll do it the other way and hope my eyesight isn't failing.

When do you normally leave a random arena match? Select a few if you want.

1 - I don't leave until the match is officially over. To the bitter end!

2 - I will leave if my whole team is dead/has left; can't be bothered waiting for the arena to kick me out.

3 - I will leave if everyone is dead but me, thus denying the enemy the chance to gain exp from reducing me to kibble.

4 - I'll leave prematurely if it looks 'obvious' my team is doomed (even if people are still alive).

5 - I will leave as soon as I die, no matter the state of my teammates.

6 - I will leave as soon as anyone on my team dies.

7 - I'll leave if someone's running a build I don't like.

8 - I'll leave if there's someone in the team I don't like, or if insulted, or if someone's being a complete jackass.

9 - I'll leave as soon as someone else on my team has already done so.

10 - I'll leave prematurely if I'm dead, no one's ressed me in the last several minutes, and it looks like the rest of the match may go for some time yet...

11 - I'll leave prematurely if the solitary person left alive on the opposing team is so determined not to die/give up that the match has gone for too long already, and looks likely to continue in the same vein...

If someone is running a pure anti-war build and i'm a melee class.. :/

problem is that there not all mutally exclusive i qualify for most of them
2, 3, 4, 7, 8, sometimes 9, 10 and also sometimes 11 depending on how stuborn i am feeling that day.

i leave when i hear that annoyingly familiar swooshing sound of mending being cast, that or any other obviously bad build on my team, i also will leave for about all the reasons u listed up top

That's simply arrogant but you know you can afford it. There is something called "communication" and I've seen warriors not revert to their mending build anymore after friendly advice.

I only leave when one of the members on my team leaves.

Considering that fighting 4v3 is pretty abysmal..especially when the other team has a monk.

And I'll leave if someone is running about.prolonging the match.

I'll leave for 2 3 4 8 10 and 11.

You may call me an elitist if you want, but staying in a useless team with a wammo using mending, that'd be a major waste of time.

I am always optimistic. I've won 3 VS. 4 battles before.

1 is it, I don't leave in the midst of a match without a damn good reason (such as a power failure)

Usually this.

This applies when there's one teammate left alive who's doing nothing but running.

1, unless I'm needed for something else by someone (which generally trancends mundane 4v4), or as said by Rath, 4 when one person on my team is just running.

2 - Theres really no point in waiting for the arena to boot you.

3 - If I have no rez

8 - Theres no reason I should stay if theres a jackass on my team. Nobody has to put up with it.

9 - If 2 have left and its me and 1 more vs 4.

10 - If nobody's gonna rez me, I'm obviously useless to them.

11 - If theres a runner on there team and we cant kill him, I dont have to wait 10 mins for 25 faction.

It usually depends on my mood. If I'm a Warrior and I'm in an all Warrior team then sometimes I'll think "This isn't going anywhere" and leave.


At the start of doing RA I'm at 1 and will occasionally go to 3. It'll go upto 4 if I'm not getting any success, and by the end of the time spent in RA I'll go upto 5. But 8 and 9 are always options that I bear in mind.

1. Never give up, never surrender!

I ran once in RA. Had no running skills, and no hope of surviving, but I was not gonna just stand there and let them beat on me. Besides, I wanted to see more of the map since I'd never seen it before. Less than 10 seconds later, I was dead. Oh well.

so bascially what some of you are saying is that you only stay if the random builds of the team favors you ?

give me a break.. you stay till its over.. you chose to go into the random arena for what ? to pray for an easy victim ? gee, that takes skill, but you run if your the weaker setup ?

no matter what you enter, you stay till its done or your a waste of space in the game

1: 90% of the time.
2: sometimes.
3: no, I /dance if it's that hopeless
4: once all the rez sigs are used up and it's something like 2v4 with one guy degening out, I will leave.
5: unless my team is really really bad and hasn't ressed in 30 seconds, nope.
6: nope.
7: nope, this is RA after all.
8: nope, again, this is RA.
9: generally yes, depends on the team though
10: sometimes.
11: 10 minutes.

If it's a losing group, I leave when the arena kicks me out.

If it's a winning group, I leave after victory but before the next map loads (providing I needed to leave for a reason).
