As a bit of spend of disatisfaction with the current title...
As they done in that "other forum"... why not add a level rank to our fourm title? So the level will be depend on how many post you made, with a exp bar too. I think it would be fun.
Fourm Levels?

the forum title is a rank in many regards as it goes up the more you post. As for an exp bar, there is no point, if you need a general idea of someones experiance look at their joining date..the chances are that someone who joined a year before you knows alot more

Seriously, I don't like that system at all. Too complicated and will just cause grief in my opinion... plus it will add to load times.
I really don't see people's problems with these new titles. They're easier to understand than Don Quixote, they're related to Guild Wars and the community voted for them. What's the big deal?

I'd rather be respected for what I post rather than what title I have. The titles are really just icing on the cake.
I really liked the new ones btw.

I'd much rather be able to set my own title like you can on pretty much every major (and even minor) forum.

Tarun,
I visit forums forums and forums all day long. Setting your title is not something that is done commonly on forums. Sorry.

I think we should have none or very few titles like guild-hall. Having so many titles made it confusing enough to determine who had a higher rank than who. Then, just when i finally thought i knew them all, you go and change them.

Some of a few that do allow you to set your own title: Lunarsoft.net, MSFN.org, CCleaner, Neowin, and many more. :P

Inde is right no MAJOR game forums allow this..setting a title is a privledge on a forum for those that become mods or those that contribute in one way or another
