Btw, its just me or the canthan character (for monk) faces and hairs are better than prophecies ones?

I bought 15k Kurzick armour and dyed it black and have now decided I hate it 
so have gone back to tattooed torso for the +8 energy and Shing Jea feet, arms and legs with the Kurzick head tattoo. All dyed black still looks the best in my eyes. 
As for stats I usually play as boon prot so go for the +10 armour whilst enchanted (Acolytes?) due to Divine Boon.
When playing PvE I usually go full healer so just put on full tattooes except for the legs which I equip with the Shing Jea trousers as I hate that little towel he has flapping around his privates.
As for the Canthan chars looking better (faces/hair) I'd have to agree where as the Prophecies Necros look much better.

Well personaly I like Luxon 15k female armor (not the hand pieces though since they look like she's made a kung-fu chop through a pair of cheeses)
Anyways forget the energy boosting armor since a proper monk will not need extra energy, I'd say the health boosting one or even the one with defence bonus while enchanted.

I use ethe +armor while enchanted for my chest and Legs when I play Boon or Bonder, I use the +armor vs. Physical otherwise. Arms and Legs I use the +health armor (shepards I think?).
As far as looks go, I like the 1.5 Kurzick/15 luxon armor alot for a female monk. I like the 1.5 Canthan for the Male.

For a boon/prot I favour the +10 armour while enchanted, which I use in conjunction with a +5 energy sword with defence mod and a +5 armour +45hp while enchanted focus.
For other monk roles I like the +10 armour vs physical because of all the warriors/thumpers running about in PvP, I also have a 15k set of wanderers...and a set of ascetics for 55ing...I'm SO glad they put material storage in.
Edit: Oh, and the hair's better, but I prefer my prophecies monk still.

i prefer propices monk skills 2 also i use the la armor for 55 b/c it doesnt matter what u have.
and for regualr healing/prot armor i use half judges and half dragon 15k armor dyed black

I got my 55 armour from Denravi, the Star pattern ascetics are so much prettier than the dragon ones :P

I personálly got Droks Judge for armour and it looks good. I will NEVER put on full tatoos, simply cause it makes u look like a big baby ;-P , And no energy is worth that, lol

well i havent checked out any of the monk armors in cathan (i bought 15k tats tyrian and im scared i wasted my money lol) but as for armor type for tats for the extra energy but also if you think how can't handle topo much pounding (as the a.i of the monsters seem to have increased they will target the monks first) get some of the clothes of just mix it up. (usually i would recommend tats for the chest piece always becuase it gives the most energy boost..i think..)

Before factions came out I was used to wearing Wanderer's armor, after I traveled to Cantha I started getting hooked on Ascetic's (since it no longer means wearing full tats) This effected my energy management in a negative way I recently made the switch to Judges top and trousers and Ascetic's arms and feet.

I think 1.5K Canthan is very stylish, and I'm not rich enough to buy a FoW set at the moment and the 15K Canthan Acolyte sets don't look that great (only the 15K Luxon gloves).

Currently my new monk is going for survivors, she is using 1.5k canthan armor atm, the +10 AL when enchanted, for more armor, so the mobs dont always attack me...
When she gets r3 survivor, she will get 15K armor, not sure wich one atm, but she will get one for her good work.

I have 2 sets of energy armors. 1 set of Droks Tats for 55ing and another set of 15Kurzick to breeze by the Factions campaign. Now, I am thinking of getting the 15K Luxon, not too sure which one. I probably will not go energy this time around. Will use my 15K Kurzick as my 55ing outfit and use the 15K Luxon as my healing outfit.
I know that energy will probably be the safest route for me, but if I did not take that route, the 2nd route to take is the HP one? I would get the armor while enchanted but in Cantha, it seems that the enemies are always shattering enchantments so I will end up with a useless armor. The HP could be beneficial with countering degen.
But from what I have noticed, with me using an energy sword, I hardly get aggroed. I probably died once Monking in the Factions campaign because a warrior in the group aggroed 3 different mob groups.
