The Ability To Change A Charecters Name And Appearance.

Maybe in the GW Shop or a NPC, but please, give us the option!

No, do not add features into the GW Shop. NPCs for changing hair or whatever is one option. A simple /command would also work, or even a simple interface at the character select screen. But do not add the option to purchase and pay for a change of appearance.
Features like these need to be kept free and global as was originally stated. This type of feature will encourage future purchases for all players as well, since to alter one's appearance the player will need to own the chapter with the "look" they want.
Therefore there is no reason for Anet to double charge (once for the option to change and then for the "look" purchased within the chapter) for the stylist.

Just my opinion, of course but I like to think of this as Guild Wars not Nip Tuck.

It would be too weird walking around and seeing your friend's character look one way one day then completely different the next to me.

i think you should be able to change ur hair nothing else as far as that on your face i yhink they need to add facial hair like beards ect to every prof for males i think they should make it able to change ur name up to 3 times on one charr and for the change of hair and for the change of name they should charge in game money like gold like 100g for a change of hair (u can change hair as much as you like) and like 1k to change your name (only able to do 3 times)

the reason is because of scammers. they scam, they change their name.

since the new addistions of nicer hair AND faces in each expansion the option to change face too is beneficial especially as some classes dont have a huge choice to begin with

skin=change tones[limited to the origional skin tone, can't go from glowing white to the darkest]
name=pay 50k or some high amount and you have to wait 6 months or a long time before you can change again

Agreed. Also the main reason why aside from the Hair Stylist... I hope nothing like this will ever happen.... ewwww especially the NAMES... DANG!!!! If you make a crappy name its your own fault...
