Need General Help in PvE

ive gotten to RoF with my first(technically not my first-long story) char-my ranger, and i have a lvl 10 warrior im gonna build up later for farming, running, etc, and a mo/me that i made as my first factions character-lvl 9 so far, but i seem like i havent learned anything. most of the acronyms i dont know-had to look up PUG just a few minutes ago, and i still dont understand much at all about factions and nightfall has already been announced! ill worry about that later though. the main thing i want to do is get help learning all the things i need to know. how to make a good build, how to farm, making money more then 1k per run through a place, etc, because really, all i know how to do so far is missions, and auto travel lol. what i really need is a mentor even just for a few hours some night to play with me and show me things . so far ive seen that the guild wars community is much more friendly then other mmo's ive played (runescape in particular *rolls eyes*)-i tried to contact people off the help list but everyone i tried that was online or offline was offline in game, so i figure that is a broken system. can someone volunteer to help me learn things? in fact im just now trying to learn how to effectively interupt-my main thing for practice? glint.... well its worth a try

Well, you're on the right track. Read these forums and www.guildwiki.org. You can find almost everything you need to know at these two sites.

Also, join a guild that is willing to answer questions you may have in-game.
