It seems strange to me that you only end up with one exploitable corpse when there is obviously the Dwarf Rider and the Beast or Dolyak.

It also seems strange that they both die exactly at the same time. It would be more interesting I think if the rider and beast could get injured separately.

I suppose there are two seperate ways to look at this. One is to have enemies that have multiple 'sub targets' that attack independently and can be targeted and attacked independently, final fantasy style. The sub targets would NOT need to be killed to kill off the main body but it makes life easier. It would be like a large boss with independently attacking nodes, with their own skillset, energy and health. If the main boss is killed they all die too. The other would be enemies that are independent but joined, like how you describe. Target and kill the healer on the dolyak and the dolyak can continue to attack without the independent healing abilities (maybe give dolyaks a simple power attack or something). Maybe without the rider the dolyak becomes uncontrollable and attacks players and stone summit alike. If the dolyak is killed first the priest falls off and continues healing. I suppose the best example is Stonepate, being a completely seperate profession to his mount. Imagine the final battle of THK before the siege, and the boss has two targets instead of one. While they are both alive, Dagnar can't attack because he is a warrior (maybe he has a bow too? ). If he is killed first his ele mount continues to attack. If his mount is killed first he jumps or falls off and carries on the fight with his axe. I think it's pretty cool, actually
