Whereas Protective Spirit says "attack or spell", Shelter just says "attack".
Does Shelter prevent more than 10% of max health of damage from spells like PS does?

Does Shelter prevent more than 10% of max health of damage from spells like PS does? Maybe 2 days late... anyway.
Attack, spells and even signets (Receive Signet of Judgement by Scourgewind Elder Guardian near the zone gate of Levitathan pit and see) count. This is when you receive more than 10% dmg from a single attack, no matter what is it, the damage will be reduced.

Hidden in the Mist
Shelter = Protective spirit on the whole party.

Except!!... Does Shelter work on Life-Stealing skills? Because I know Prot Spirit does not work on life-stealing. (especially useful when touching versus a 55 in AB)
Jetdoc
I've tested it, and Shelter definitely doesn't work with life stealing, as it is not considered damage.

Life stealing can't be reduced by any skills.

Doesn't the guild lord's amulet of protection reduce life stealing?
Guitary Boy
Yes it does
Son of Urza
That's a monster skill, not a PC skill. They're allowed to be impossible.

It doesn't reduce it, it just counters it.
