Question on Nightfall

I made a dervish and a paragon during the event and noticed that you cant make either of the characters/professions white. What I mean is the dervish and paragon look like an escaped convict. And since the game is based in Africa where absolutely nothing but sand is, does that mean that all the characters(Elementalists, Mesmers, etc + henchmen and story characters) are going to be black/jewish/or arabic? If so I am not buying the game because I am not going to put up with this non white bullshit. I put up with it long enough in Cantha knowing that all Canthan characters look like chinese.

Funny, most paragons/dervishes I saw were white.

Are you like a racist or something? I'm also white but I dont really care if my character was black or if it was purple. It is a game. And most of the time you don't really see your characters skin because most armor covers it. (most not all)

Then make a Prophecies character. Seriously, this game is sold and played world wide. It is not marketed towards white people only, and every chapter will have a unique cultural basis. If you don't like playing with non-white people, maybe you should stay off-line.

In this day and age, bigotry and racism have no reason to exist.

How do you get Jewish in there? I don't remember seeing anything about religion in the character creation screen.

Off the topic of your racial beliefs, you do realize it was a PREVIEW and that ANet did NOT lets us see everything about the classes. Hell you couldn't even make a female paragon or a male dervish. Things are still being added and will continue to be added until release. You won't know those things until then. Now, please go crawl back under your rock and hide in your ignorance, thanks!

No you didn't. You made a Light-Skinned Black Dervish. ALOT of difference between the two on a scientific standpoint.

OP - It was a BETA TESTING EVENT - IE. Not all Skin Types, Hair Types, Hair Colors, Armors, Skills, ETC were avialable..THATS why you couldn't make a white person.


Being Jewish is much more than a choice of Religion. Judaism on a whole as described by characteristics of a culture and ethnicity of its own. You can be "Jewish" and not be religious AT ALL...Being "jewish" nowadays more refers to your heritage (your ancestors and family) more than your religious principles.

You can take your racism to another forum. It will not be tolerated here.
